While I largely agree, I think ‘rules’ in fashion are just restricting. Take these as a guide but if you like it and think you look good just wear it. Don’t just avoid things because they don’t comply with rules.

If you look at some celebs that are in the fashion scene, tyler the creator, asap rocky, jaden smith, ye, etc. or even some of the fashion oriented youtubers, Daniel Simmons, Devanondeck, etc. and u see some of the fits they wear, they each have their own look because none of these rules(for the most part) apply to them lol. Like if we all followed these rules, we would all look the same! Fashion is about finding your own aesthetic, having your own style, wearing what YOU think looks good, not following rules. Its not about what you wear, its about how you wear it.
I couldnt quite put my finger on it, but this video did it for me. I always wear slim fit outfits with nike blazers, and it threw me off trying jordan 4s with the same fits. They totally throw it off.
I disagree with the slim fit outfit with chunky shoes. Pairing, for example, slim fit/skinny jeans with a chubk sneaker like the Balenciaga give the overall look very edgy,
Shoes not accessories , you need comfortable good shoes for daily use , walking run , if you use to wearing formal suit, you can go with run shoes with black color , but do not use formal classic shoes it is useless

The way you present yourself can dramatically change the way you are perceived and even treated in many situations. You can wear "whatever you want", but just know that there will be consequences to your fashion choices.
