tbh I'm glad to see political books, I always feel content on them are so scant in "book content" it feels very... weird, considering how prevalent and historically influential they are. You've quickly became one of my favorite ASMRists bc you don't seem to be afraid of acknowledging the practices of brands, people who create them, and the content of these books. It's cool to hear the focus of your major too! I honestly would love to hear an ASMR video about the history of American parties lol
I agree, I feel as though people avoid it in order to stay uncontroversial - something I can completely understand and respect. For me, I am comfortable discussing these topics in a gentle and hopefully thoughtful way! Thank you for your feedback 💜

I recently read On Earth We Are Briefly Gorgeous and also ugly cried to it! It was the first book I've actually finished in quite a while. I really want to read more of his work

I appreciate that you don't banish someone based on their beliefs. However, I didn't subscribe to hear about anything political. I wish you would avoid that. Politics are far from relaxing. It's stressful to know where our Country is at. Id like to escape it. This video does not allow the escape.
I 100% understand, and I hope that you felt empowered to not watch after I said in the intro that this video would contain books that discuss political content. I can’t promise that I will always avoid controversial topics, but what I can do is always mention in the intro that the video will contain discussion of things some may find not relaxing.
