Really wisdom theese words. May actually save your relationchip. I needed plenty of time alone with God to grow and to heal. I left my boyfriend for many years (10) to choose God. My best (and hardest) way to heal, was to be alone with Him for ours. Crying, talking (And I often said to Him "I can't tell why I feel ...down, depressed, afraid, jalousy, too sensitive etc" And He said "Try". Try only one word. And I tried and then it came.. and sooo many times I cried like "from childhood cry" You could here it was so "deep inside cry". It was a jurney and I healed more and more. Not going to church, not one way praying, but study the word and alone time together. My best place was on the floor with arms out. If I was not alone I went to the bathroom somethimes for ours. Wow it changed me totally! In the beginning I could only sit on His knee, and He could not touch me! Then it was ok for Him to touch my back after a while. Today I run into His arms!! He made me a whole, proud woman, NO anger issues, never depressed!! I am the butterfly in Romans 12:2. (Methamormosis, transformation). Bless you both so much ❤

When couples take a break...it is for that reason...a break. ..as you have stated previously...you were together constantly. That gets overwhelming for anyone and gets to be way too much. It's good that you both followed where you were led by God in this season. And I think it will greatly strengthen you both for the future. As you are both younger adults (I'm 47, so I can say that 😊), this is the perfect time for you to take a break and be sharpened by God, individually, so you can be a better Force for Him, together in the future. The only point I want to make is that, as a married couple, God can still work on one, or both of you, during specific times but that ENDURING is as a couple (normally) means doing it TOGETHER and not cutting off contact with each other. The most important thing is that you listened to and followed God, but I didn't want people to get the wrong idea that, in marriage, you bale or get a divorce just because one of you (or both) are being sharpened by God during a season. God uses such circumstances to only strengthen the marriage unit. And, yes, you aren't married presently, though you both talked about it frequently, but I could see some people not understanding the difference and applying what you stated across the board to all relationships.

Ik it hurts because I'm basically going through the same situation right now, me and my boyfriend took a break since last year,we haven't been together since then, today I found out he looses feelings for me and didn't want to continue anymore at first I thought he was just joking as we've spoken and we've been closer as the days go by but I was so heartbroken when He finally said he didn't want me back anymore,I still love him the way I did before I honestly didn't see that coming
But,I hope this will not happen to you guys praying for you two to get better and to love more and more even though you guys are not together at the moment but I hope that LOVE will grow and God Will guide you through this 🙏 God's timing will be right
