The handles on the back should not be used to assist up a step as the brackets in which the handles fit pull out of shape. Have 2 batteries fitted but do not get mileage advertised. No front brake - so have no control on public transport in England when the motor switched off. Cannot put back brake on in confined space. Chair rolls if motor switched off.Now for the plus for the chair. Love it, it has given me independence to shop, attend shows and events. Easy to use and manauver, comfortable to sit in. I use ramps to put in car and it folds and fits easily. Like a large folding baby pushchair.Would like the updated model but cannot afford it at the moment!😊😊😊

In Liverpool the chair must be backed into the disabled bay and face the rear of the bus.. When backed into the bay there is no room to apply brake on the back of the chair by helper. The rules say the brake must be on while in the chair on bus but it is not possible with the rear only brake.I leave the motor on and hang onto the handrails to keep it from rolling.Despite this I still love the chair.😊😊
Agree with the comparisons at the end, very frustrated that the EZ Cruiser seems to also be the only folding chair with a reclining back AND option for adjustable foot rests both of which are very critical features for me...but I HATE that the battery is underneath instad of storage space!
I used it all day for over 5 hours in one sitting daily for the past few days. The cushion is comfortable enough that I do not need to transfer to regular chair when I go to restaurants.
By now I do hope the wheels have been updated to bigger sporty looking ones. Most people would not like to sit on something like a baby pram or trolley.
+Maarten Cappaert It's not noisy at all. I have never even pay attention to the noise except when i get to the door of my home and my family can hear a few click click sound. I have brought it to movie theatre also.

Hi all, i have the Foldawheel Chair AND its VERY silent. Its also VERY manoeuvrable. Have recently returned from a holiday and the ONLY problem was British Airways losing my chair on our return to Heathrow!!! We had NO problem fitting it into the hire car trunk, due to the lightness of the chair. Even HEAVY rain and deep puddles were handled with ease!!!! All in all been VERY satisfied with the Foldawheel from careco.uk. The help and care we received from them was VERY GOOD and more than happy to recomend them to anybody who has asked!!!
I have not been able to walk for awhile now and I been looking into a power wheelchair I want a good one at a reasonable price. Behind disabled is expensive

The Foldawheel seems better but isn't it a mock up of the original ... the original gives you a full warranty but I do not believe Foldawheel can match that warranty.
+Peter Berian The chassis is quite sturdy, in fact it's so sturdy that a slight unevenness causes the chair to lose traction on one wheel and slip. That's the only annoying thing really. It looks much sturdier than the 'original' and it's clearly better designed and much easier to fold.

How noisy are the motors and brakes? My current wheelchair is very noisy and all youtube videos of this chair have music over them.
