- Опубліковано 16 тра 2024
- Welcome to a first look at the new Ram RHO - Ram's latest powerhouse set to take on the entire truck market, specifically targeting the Ford Raptor.
In this video, we dive deep into what makes the Ram RHO stand out:
✅ This is NOT a replacement for the TRX - a TRX replacement has been teased, but we'll cover that as more is revealed.
✅ It's powered by the high-output version of the new twin-turbo Hurricane inline-6.
✅ And it makes more power and costs nearly $10,000 less than the current Ford F-150 Raptor!
Despite the loss of the Hemi V8, the Ram RHO, with its starting price of $71,990, delivers an impressive 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. It outperforms the Raptor in both power and price, and its advanced Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive suspension ensures superior off-road capability and on-road comfort.
Join us as we explore the RHO's drivetrain, interior, safety features, and more. We'll also compare it to other top contenders like the Ford Raptor, Chevrolet Silverado ZR2, and Toyota Tundra TRD Pro.

This has to be the most informative video I've seen so far, and believe me, I've seen almost all of them.
agreed!
Great video
Agreed
I’d rather buy a used TRX. Nothing will ever be better than a v8 in a truck imo.
I thought this before I tested the F150s. That 3.5 twin turbo is so much better than the 5.0. And I came from a 5.0 Mustang
For a second I thought RAM released the TRX but then I realized you guys are just a month late on the RHO 😂
7:08 😂🎉 you're welcome
Loved seeing that Little Red Express truck. That was my high school transportation. fun, fun, fun
It looks like it’s finally time to get the new truck and have cash left to make it personalized. Can’t wait!
Wait a year or two... there's a few trucks on the horizon we have our eyes on :)
And, I almost always do!
Mark Dodge LA is offering $9,000 to $11,000 off. No financing is required from them to receive the discount. That means that you can get the RHO with level one, including destination for $72k
It also weighs over six thousand pounds, Those that own a business know exactly what that means 💰
Granger in IA is doing the same, 4% below invoice. That’s where I ordered mine 😂
@@flopez5890no you can’t write this off, it costs too much.
4% isn’t even close to the same
Stock RHO vs Stock Raptor.
Raptor will win everything.
Awesome video! Ignore the haters! I enjoyed every minute of this video.
Where did you get those fuel economy figures 🤨
I do hate that 14.5 inch screen just slapped in the middle. Hopefully you can get it in the much more aesthetically pleasing 8 inch
7:07 wtf
I wouldn’t be too worried if I were Ford 😅. TRX started around this price when it first came out and look how much it is now. Ram will underprice this truck to take market share but they’ll increase the price the years after to recoup the losses.
There are at least 4 Ram TRX in my area, brand new, that have been sitting on the lot for about 2 months now. Used TRX prices are crashing like crazy. Meanwhile, every Ford Raptor R is going out the door with big markups…I think we can get the big picture here.
Loved the vid and gave u a like a sub but im a bit lost because i wanna get but i wanna review about the enfinity qx80 autograph to compare before i get one
$72k starting…closer to $80k plus out the door. These manufacturers are nuts but the people buying them at these prices are insane
Perhaps I’m mistaken but I could’ve sworn that when the TRX was first released, it had an MSRP similar to this truck.
You are correct. Within about $5k.
Sitting in my raptor laughing at this video.
There's a reason you're crying. 🙊😹
What raptor? Raptor R? Or the weak ass v6 raptor? I have the ecoboost raptor. Shit is lame as fuck.
@@joemomma707 sounds like a you problem.
@@ryankunkel8247 lmao! I also have a Trackhawk and whippled 5.0. What do you drive brokey?
@@joemomma707 good for you. I have a lame af 3.5 as you put it. But here’s the thing, add a goose tune and a few bolt on’s to it and it’s a much different experience. Glad you have a trackhawk. Not sure my F90 could compete.
7:08💀💀💀
Looks great , all depends on engine longevity.
EXCELLENT VIDEO! Subscribed
Looks like a retro 2000s dodge 1500 truck….be interesting to see if there’s a market for a truck like this….
I was getting that feeling as if it reminded me of something I just couldn't put my finger on it.
I wonder if they will have a nighttime edition like the other gen 5s do. I got a 19 nighttime edition. Gonna give it to my wife and I’m taking the RHO
I need someone to explain why any and i do mean any truck is 70,000 dollars. Make it make sense.
Exactly
Great work as usual, Ideal.
Thank you! Cheers!
this is great and good for ram and market; but do you really think chevy let alone ford will just sit back and say oh well? lol. ford and chevy already knows what up and already developing their next generation.
Y do people forget the raptor R is available???
So this will be $90,000 with options and markups
Sticking with my 24 ranger raptor. No need for a 1/2 ton truck. And I paid 20 grand less for it than this costs.
GREAT truck!
Just look where the RAM parks, oil season formed....
The want is real
If i just wanted tech with decent power rho but id prefer power over tech so used trx for me if i had the moneys lol
I'll stay with my TRX for now
But how do I make it sound like a hemi lol
The Hurricane engine makes it more attainable than the TRX as long as dealerships don't ruin it with their greedy markups!
They had to get rid of the V8 because of the CAFE restrictions. The hemis are a dirty engine.
So they kill the TRX but keep the body and kill the 6.2 for this shit
Ruh-RHO, Raptor 😂
Factory recall and UAW concerns may lead me to look closer to Ford
You can't go wrong with the Raptor! Stay tuned for an upcoming video diving in to what in the world is going on at Stellantis
Makes sense... though, StellAntis is eliminating V8's and even though, they have more horsepower than a regular Double Trouble Turbos V6 Raptor... in Los Angeles California Dealership there were more Raptor R available than V6 Variant... 90% were V8's
It isn't because they were more expensive. It's because they know the 5.0 or the 5.2 ( Raptor R) are more reliable.
I have footage of this a full lot and there were some shopper's for a 5.0 I would have bought a 5.0 Roush F150 if it had a e erd Pedal 6 Speed Manual Transmission.
I had taken my 2022 Roush Mustang for it Service. Made the video... what I am trying to say is it's the end of Dodge and RAM.
I lived with Turbo Ecoboost Mustang for 7.5 years and it was boring to drive an Automatic Paddle Shifters Transmission
Though, was costly to have 2 engines replaced before 60k miles. The 1st time they had it for 2 months, and when I went to pick her up they said it'll be $2,890 I said wait what I thought the Warranty paid for everything. Only 1st month of the rental. The 2nd time they said Ford will not pay for either of the 2 months on Rental. So I bought the only White V8 Mustang with the 3rd Pedal
6 Speed Manual Transmission. In all of California.
No one knows Turbos get to 1,875° Fahrenheit or 1,020° Celcius . They are mounted next to the engine block so it will fail.. European know this and it's why they apply It to their vehicles. I wouldn't buy anything thing with Turbos. Mopar techs will promote it so they can be busy working on these Warranty pieces of Junk.
Ecoboost (Ford) EcoTech ( GM) are EcoTragic. ..
April Fools past you know. The way Stellantis killed this brand they will never get another dime out of me
He got the stats on the Toyota tundra wrong it’s actually 437 hp and 583 LB/FT
RHO is a Ram Rebel killer for sure...beyond that, nope. RUH RHO
I would never drop $70K on a truck, but I’m definitely Team RHO on this one. That looks awesome. It will never compare to the sound of a TRX at WOT, though.
I want a RHO
It might compete with the 2015-2020 ford raptor 😂.
Ford is gonna have to answer back with more power in their V6 Raptor.
People buy reliability. I hope this is reliable as the ford raptor certainly isn’t.
My last gen 2 Raptor went 80K miles in less than 3 years with 0 problems. My current gen 3 Raptor has 25K miles now in just 11 months and also problems free…there are gen 1 Raptors with 250k+ miles and still going strong…So not sure what the opinion came from?
Chevy needs to step it up.
Nah
Dude, this probably the best product review I’ve ever seen for any product. Extremely well done.
Nothings gonna kill the raptor 😂
Sounds like a Biden supporter saying, Biden is the best president in history.
10k more for a slower aluminum body & nissan interior truck that looks like Legos? Sure thing kid 🤣
Seriously you’re a dodge fan boy good for you. Please get a new line, so it’s less obvious
I ordered a RHO I cant wait to drive it.
R
Ram is going backwards nice lol
Hurrr durrr can’t beat muh V8
Way to expensive.
the next dodge failure nice these guys cant sell a truck to save their lives lol
The wallet killer
Yeah ok....this v6 sounds awful.....and made by Stellantis?.....I'll pass on this one....but good luck and happy offroading to the people that buy this....👍
So in the end does it really matter majority of the trucks I see are all pavement queens. So what's any different from this one.
Nobody wants electric truck
Why do these dodge fangirls do videos just using base price for the Ram? Who the hell buys a base model with no options? And optioned out '24 Raptor 35 package is $82K. So a base model Ram, with no options is $10K less...now do it with options. FFS.
Edit: Just optioned out a RHO with things the $82K Raptor has and guess what.....$89,390. But yea, let's just keep saying "base price"
Raptor will still dominate ford will always be one step ahead
Always 4 years later than Ford
That's why Ford is leading
Definitely not a Raptor killer and its a junk Dodge product. To bad Chrysler makes crap because their design and tech team is awesome. What a shame.
You know what they say about opinions. From my experiences with Ford and GM trucks. I'll stick with Ram. Especially after the last couple of Found on Road Dead trucks.
It won't take down the 700 hp Raptor R Though, Los Angeles California Raptor R starts at $209,000 to $230,000 I have footage of these actual prices ( dealership Mark-ups, Add-ons, or Market Adjustments) Regular F150 Raptor is $130,000 and yes, it does have les horse power than the V6 Double the Engine Warpage Effect ( on Engine Block ) Turbo. TRX cost $120, 000 to $160,000
Enjoy 🏁🏎🏎🏁🏁🏁🏁🚩🚩⛰⛰🧗🏻🌲🌲
The raptor R was in response to the TRX, the RHO is (as the video explained clearly) the direct competitor to the original raptor. I don’t know why this is so hard to understand for 90% of truck consumers. TRX=Hellcat…RHO=Scat Pack
😂😂😂 What a piece of Crap.. I’m no ford guy but geez that piece of 💩 Ram can’t touch the Raptor!
Yeah, I used to think the same way until the ecoboost junk truck I had went to the dealership 16 times in 16 months.
It’s nice to know that RAM is still learning from Ford! 🙃🍷🛻
