I swapped out my perfectly good OEM Throttle cable with the mr2 Heaven. It was a mistake, the aftermarket from this vendor didn’t last for 6 months. The sheathing portion of the cable in the engine bay, melted. When on a hot day, the the throttle body stays open when I let off the gas. The engine revs real high. I’m glad I didn’t throw away the OEM. I put it back on and I’m much happier.
Hello Bob. I don’t know if you’ll see this but I was wondering if you know if there is a special procedure to take the cable out and put it back into the cruise control box on each one. I have a 5sfe with it and I’m planning on doing this in about a week with the same company.
Interesting that you say that, I just installed the same cable on mine and also have a little too much slack. Enough, that at full adjustment at the TB, it still remains. Im in the process of shortening the actual cable.

Sorry, hope this is not a stupid question. Does anyone know if this can fit RHD vehicle?
Nice DIY videos. Ever do the wiring yourself for gen4 swaps??
Turd Slayer no sir. I let the pros do that since I suck at electrical

I got a brand new gen 4 cable, and copied what you did, but the slack in the gas pedal won’t go away?

Same here. Even with the cable adjusted all the way, there’s still a bunch of slack.
@@BargainPaper I'm having the same issue. How did you shorten the cable?
@@KOMR11 I ended up fixing mine and I made a video about it. Check it out!
@@BargainPaper appreciate it! Really sucks having to go through all of that.
You would think more people would push quality hose clamps like the ones on your car. T bolt clamps suck.
