You can communicate much earlier with ASL/ sign than you could verbally with your child 😊 she did her first signed sentence this week (11 months) and typically kids don’t speak sentences verbally until 2+ (?) aside from communicating and having the ability for her to have her needs directly met, it’s a second language & any additional language early on is great for a child’s development 💓💕
@@KarissaPukas did you and Glen already know ASL prior to having Goldie? Or are you also learning as you are teaching her? I would love to teach my 7 month old sign language! Such a brilliant idea for their development! Thank you!

She has full hearing :) We sign because it's a second language & gives her the ability to communicate way before she could verbally.
