Not me watching this @ 5 months pregnant and sobbing thinking about when my baby is born.....
Fr though this was wonderful to watch and put me at ease. So many moms want to hit me with how "awful" it's going to be once baby gets here, and it was magical seeing you have a night with baby that was peaceful and loving. Thank you for this video! 💗💗
I’m 5 months now reading this ☺️ How did you go? ♡
@@whatasillybilly lmao I'm 4 months now reading this 😂 how are you?? ❤
I just miss this so much, I didn't realize how much I would. She was born in December, at 5am during a wake time, I watched the snow fall with her from the window. It was magical.
That’s beautiful 🩷 mine was born in February and I remember being awake during some of the rainstorms in the very early mornings of march
I absolutely loved the middle of nights together. I labored from 2am-6am and she was born 6:10am...I found she'd often be awake in the wee hours of the morning looking our the window...those quiet moments were my favorite tines with her.
Sounds beautiful ❤ what a lovely memory
I thought my insomnia growing up was bad but now being at home with a one month old I barely get any sleep at all. It's incredible how our bodies learn to adjust to barely getting any rest or sleep after going through 9 months of pregnancy, giving birth, and then caring for our babies once they arrive. My daughter wakes up about 3 to 4 times a night for feedings and diaper changes. I'm exhausted but my body seems to run on a natural high.
How are you doing now?
@@ava1ynn821 it's getting easier now with my 8 month old. I have been sleep training her since she was 4 months old but she does still get up throughout the night several times during the week.
just FYI, this experience isn’t normal across all women. post-natal depression is often made worse by poor quality / little sleep.
@@ploooompkin I agree after sleeping better I’ll tell you my husband and I were SO happy. Sleep deprivation really does cause PP depression.
thank you for sharing your experience.. @@Iamjessicakouassi I find people who try to convince themselves that they're happy (aka "im running on a natural high") in spite of their struggles (aka sleep deprivation) really invalidating for what women truly experience post partum. I cant imagine how much they're also truly struggling trying to put up a front.
Breast milk cures cradle cap and baby acne, and mom acne, and anything…the stuff is gold
total bs - breast milk is overrated and become political
@@MsWorldMine…..what 😂 how has a scientific thing like breast milk been politicized? Breast milk absolutely helps for stuff like that who says it doesn’t 😅
this is soo encouraging for me :) im becoming a ftm in february and am so nervous about how the nights will look once hubby goes back to work after 2 weeks. this made me feel like i can do it with the love and guidance of the Lord !
Same!! I’m due Feb 26th! Hbu??
I'll be a FTM in February too! February 2nd!
@@R_c077 I’m February 26 too!!
Same but due June 26th!! Good luck to all us ftms. God's got us 🙌🏽
You can do it!! I was so nervous too but honestly your mommy instincts will kick in and you’ll just do what you need to do. God bless you and your little one!♥️
So nice to see your husbands involvement when he can jump in. My husband and I are expecting our first little bean July 2023. I imagine my sweet husband will be as helpful as possible too. Thank you for such an insightful video! And thank you especially for that last part with your pep talk. So helpful. I feel like we can totally do this.
Me and you both! I wish the best for you and your baby! We got a little bit to go 😢
@@renoldojeffrey4653 best of luck to you too! We got this!!
Omg my husband and I are expecting our first in July too 😅 Fourth of July is my due date lol
Whis you and your family all the best!!
Always nice to know I’m not the only one awake & feeding a baby throughout the night 😅
Hahahaha same girl 😂❤
Mee tooo
u joking right ?
Parce que tu le veux bien, secoué ton mari et tiré ton lait dans un.biberon, voilà
But am I the only one that wakes up like a zombie. I don’t remember ever doing my makeup with a new born. lol 😂
such a great example of what it's like 👍🏻👍🏻 and you have a good attitude ! it's doesn't last forever ! and it does help to know you are one of thousands of mommas up in the night with their babies too ❤️ we all fight through together 🤗
Love your outlook on the hard parts of having a newborn! I’ve also got a newborn who only wants to nurse on one side at a time. So great to see how you handle this at night while maintaining supply. ❤
Thank you so much for showing a realistic night with a new born!! I have a two week old baby girl and my nights look very similar. So comforting to know us mummas are in this together xxxx
I haven't had a newborn in 15 years. It is every bit as challenging as I remember. So I am confident you are helping others in this time of life.
Girl go on and speak the Truth. So refreshing to hear you speak about Holy Spirit. LOVE.
I’m almost 6 months pregnant with our little girl, and I currently have a little boy who just turned 1 in November. So our situations are so similar! Love your videos!
Praying for strength is the REALEST thing in new momhood!! It’s incredible what God can do even on little to no sleep!

I have been married for 26 years now. I think it's hilarious how the husbands can sleep through what we go through in the middle of the night with the babies. Just so funny to see other men sleeping through it. Lol
That just happened to me for the first time, I always thought that my husband is so helpful and would do anything for me 🤣
Our baby is 3 days old and i am in pain of a c section. Well my husband checked if I could get up with minimum pain and when he saw that i was ok, he suddenly slept back with a snore, i was like what the hell! Men are another level.
@@sedajay so sorry, men are jerks
Facts lol
Because it's moms job.
@@Niaa979 hopefully in all seriousness we all know that it's best for only one person to be awake. Like how I sleep through any late night drives 🤷🏽♀️
Sitting here baffled as a new mom wondering how on earth people are this organized and have time to film/ edit these videos while parenting a newborn 😂😅 My bedroom/ nursery looked like this before he was born and now it’s like a tornado went through the house. These parents are doing an amazing job and we are all doing our very best ❤
Love your honest feedback. Me too! My mum helps heaps but on days she cant be here i struggle to get anything done! Love to all new moms, however you do❤
Exactly what I was thinking
I hope you don’t mind (I don’t normally comment actually). But what my husband and I do is…I go to sleep at 8.30pm. I pump. And then my husband does the bath, feeds the baby and then comes to bed around 10pm. Then I’m out of it and wake up for the next feed. That gives you a good stretch of sleep…highly recommend.
Oh man this is dedication 😂👏🏻 I usually end up working in the evenings however most nights I could definitely pass out by 8 haha
This is genius! I will remember this if it gets really tough. Thank you!
Thank you for posting this! I am going to be a first time mom due in June and I have been having a lot of anxiety about everything that is to come/ not believing in myself that I can do it. Your videos have really been helping me a lot seeing it super real. I feel like a lot of youtubers cut out the hard parts so thank you for showing this and making me feel so much better.

I just discovered your channel and wow your videos are so relatable! I am a new momma and my baby is currently just over 4 weeks old. Watching your videos with your newborns and seeing how often they wake up in the middle of the night has been so reassuring to me.
Great video! It’s nice to see it all happen instead of hear someone explain how the night went 👌🏽
I love how positive, patient, loving, and caring you are. May God continue to bless your beautiful family 💜😘
Loving your videos and so impressed how you’ve kept them up during this season. Doing it all with such grace 🤍
Thank you so much 😭❤️
Thank you so much for making this video. The guidance you've provided by simply letting us glimpse your process, it has been incredibly helpful for those of us navigating this process for the first time. I appreciate you!
Omg that head back on the headboard nursing is soooo relatable right now. This ^^ is literally my life right now! Love you friend-you’re an inspiration and doing amazing ❤
Love you to the moon Cass ❤️ you are an incredible mum!
This was really helpful! I feel like you showed the parts that most youtubers usually cut out, so thank you !
I've been watching you since you've started and I'm now 6 weeks pregnant with my first!! I'm so excited and am definitely gonna watch your videos in a new light.
Keep it up mama, you're amazing !
Noooo way! That is so exciting - congrats 🥰 You are going to love being a mama!
I’m 38weeks and nearly ready for labour, I can feel things progressing well. Having my baby number 6. Love your vlogging so precious, your little family is super cute!
Totally agree with others who have commented how calm your night time routine went here. First video I’ve seen of yours ❤
You definitely made it look manageable ❤watching these videos are helping me so much just with the overwhelming thoughts of how I’ll manage when my new born gets here. First time and low key nervous but through Christ all things are possible 🙏🏾
So helpful!! I’m 31 weeks - my baby boy is due early February! It was nice to be able to see a full night 🤍
So soon! 🥰 congrats to you! So glad it was helpful!
I can't believe YT recommended this video for me ! What a blessing, thank you so much for sharing ❤️
I have a 5 months old baby and for about 3-4 days he is waking up only once per night. This is such a relief after 5 months of sleepless nights. I hope soon he will sleep for the entire night), and me too)
Thanks for being so raw. Love that you ask Holy Spirit every morning. You are truly and inspiration xx
You and your husband are super parents! You’re both doing phenomenal! God doesn’t give you more than you can handle ❤
Mentally prepping for baby number 3 and this was really helpful. Especially the tip about clinging to Gods mercy every morning. Thank you 🙏🏽

It's been 7 months. How are you and baby now?😊
Thank you soooo much for taking the time to film and share this. Due in a few weeks and it’s so helpful to see this in action having never done it. I especially appreciate your prayers in the morning. I’ll definitely be doing that. Thanks again!
Prayer changes everything! 👏🏻
Omg, I'm expecting my second child and totally forgot how it was with a newborn. My two year old has been sleeping through the night for about a year now (pure blessing I tell you), and the idea of waking up every two hours or more kills me!! Haha. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Refreshed to see another mama on UA-cam who mentions the Lord and His sustaining grace 😁 I feel like it would be easy to shy away from comments like that but you don’t and that’s really encouraging. ❤️❤️ great video! Thanks for all the work you put in!

Hooray! Congrats on your first babe ❤️
I’m a first-time mom with a 5-week old and my routine is pretty much the same as yours! 😅 That makes me feel better. My baby still wakes up every 1.5, 2, and/or 3 hours at night😩
Stay strong! These are some anxieties I have about postpartum. I wish you comfort and the best of luck! You're doing great 👍🏻

Love your content as a ftm who use to live in Ontario. I have been watching your channel for a year now since I found out I was pregnant. My son is now 4 months.
Not sure where I learned this hack for the haakka but if you put it in an empty coffee mug it is much harder to knock over!
Oh my gosh this is a life changing hack 😂 thank you for sharing - and thank you for being here! ❤️
Hey I love your baby’s crib! Where is it from ?
Im 20 weeks this Friday and my nesting has kicked in full force. This was so helpful and exciting to see what a night may look like for us. Thank you thank you ❤️
As if I was watching me and my husband go through the night. Thank you for showing how real sleep deprivation is. ❤
It really is such a challenge - helps to keep perspective and remember that we'll sleep again someday (hopefully soon) 😅

I’m currently pregnant with my third baby, and this video is so beautiful! This video was real, yet hopeful and I love it! Also, do you have a box spring; I asked because we do and Im trying to gauge if I’ll need the maxi for taller height vs the normal one. I wish I would’ve known about the bedside cosleeper from my first pregnancy 4 years ago! Definitely just subscribed, blessing to you and your beautiful family! 💕
Thank you for this video! I am 30 weeks pregnant with baby #2 trying to get ready for the newborn nights - my firstborn is almost 6 years old so it has been a while and I need a refresher.
I love your videos! I’m expecting my first in July so these have been so helpful. Random question. Where did you get your dresser? I’m looking for something similar for his nursery, but it’s all self assembly and I’m worried about the quality. Thanks! ☺️
Thanks for showing this! Where do you get your night lamp ? It seems like a nice one that’s not too bright. Also where can I find such a beautiful bedside bassinet ?
Well, I like the part where you mentioned about your faith that keeps you going in the morning. It was simple and light heartening. Very refreshing. I'm currently 20 weeks I am looking forward To the rewards and challenges ahead. This video was very Enlightening, educational, and just downright sweet.
Wow I love this! Thank you for your words at the end! I’m due with my second child in a month and a little nervous about newborn and three year old!
Which light do you use in the corner please? I’d like to order one today!
I love your level of preparation for a smooth night! I'm due in a couple months and this is really helpful.
Thanks for sharing your expereince! I was wondering where you bought your crib/bassinet?
How do you like the Mom Cozy hands free pump? I’m expecting baby #2 in June 2023 & I keep seeing Ads for this! This time I really want to invest in a good pump. Do you find it stays charged for a good amount of time?
I love it so far! Love that it’s not clunky and it always gets a good amount of milk out for me. Battery seems to last for like a week but I usually only pump like 8-15 mins per side!
I’m 8 month 🤰🏻right now with my first baby.and sis I’m scared I don’t know anything 😵💫😵💫just learning and learning every day.thanks god for youtube
Oh wow you’re doing such an amazing job, it’s amazing to watch you 🫶🏼 all the best
What pillow do you use for breastfeeding? I love that shape, it seems much easier to use than traditional breastfeeding pillows. I have yet to find one that is comfortable
Thank you this is really helpful, a realistic example of what it will be like when I have a newborn! Thank you and God bless you! Yes his mercies are new every morning 🌄

What crib are you using at the bed side? I don’t see it listed on your description and would love to know!
Hiiii love your video! Kinda random but what nightstands do you have? :)
What kind of cradleor bed that is?

Where did you get your bassinet that attached next to the bed?
This was sooo helpful! I truly just have no idea what to expect as a ftm, so thankyou❤
Great video!! Where’s your water bottle from?
Great video! Wish I had youtube to look things like this up when I was a new mom, but youtube didn’t exist when I had my first😂 My daughter is having her first baby soon just wondering if the bedside cradle bed you use is still available to purchase? It’s gorgeous and looks like a great set up for baby! Thank you for this! Blessings to you all! ❤❤❤
Is the bassinet the Maxi or the Original - I am thinking about purchasing with your code!
We have the maxi! :)
The encouragement at the end of the video felt like God wanted me to hear that through you. I am a new mom and nights have been a challenge. Thank you for those verses and encouragement that I am not alone. 🙏🏻❤️
Sorry if I missed this, what brand bedside bassinet is that? I'm looking to get a similar one
I’m expecting my first baby with my husband and we been together for 5 years but married for 3 years and I love these tips you giving
I was so blessed both my boys (well not really boy's anymore they are 22 n 20) were good sleeper's and only woke up 2x a night. I used formula and my husband and i would tag team feeding. My first started sleeping all night at 3 weeks and my second at 4 weeks. I remember my friends baby was 8 months and waking up every 3 hours and i couldn't understand why until she informed me that my situation was not the norm at all. Props to all the moms and dads who can function on a few hours of sleep!😴
Where did you buy your crib? I have been looking everywhere for one that can convert the way yours did in this video.
Having my fourth . Breastfeeding also. But have to be back to work full time at 6 weeks. Luckily my husband stays home with our littles but man it’s so hard going back full time so soon
Thank you for the effort of doing this videos!! ❤ becoming a ftm in February and this videos. Are so helpful to have a better idea of what to expect and a beautiful way to handle it

Just found this video and it gave a lot of insight and encouragement as my husband and I are about to have our first baby in the next few weeks (more or less but probably less). We both have been pretty nervous as the time bomb is ticking down for baby day and just trying to figure out and wonder how in the world can we make it as parents and raise Killian. The Lord has helped us and been with us each step of the way and brought Killian into our lives during a year fraught with death and nearly every appliance breaking down. Killian has been a joy for us and we look forward to welcoming him, though it’s still pretty scary at times.
Hi I’m just wondering what app do you use to record you have such good video quality❤
How does your oldest sleep and does baby ever wake her up? I have a 11 month old and currently pregnant with my second and my first is still waking through out the night a few times. I worry I won’t ever get sleep with both waking up
She rarely wakes up which we're so grateful for haha. She goes to sleep around 7/730 and sleeps a straight 12 hours 99% of the time! We've followed a lot of the tips from Taking Cara Babies since day one with both kids. Our first just loves to sleep I guess. 😂
I would suggest being in bed yourself at 830 and asleep at 9pm. I found that helped me. Also if possible still waking before the kids made for a mentally happier day ha.
Hi! May i know where your crib is from?? Thank you!
Please link/tell me what bedside crib that is. My newborn is 3 weeks and already too tall for the bassinet
Babybay USA! Linked in description box!
I'm not a mom or pregnant yet, but I've got so much respect for you... And am amazed by your hair. How do you wake up several times a night with your hair looking like you just brushed and curled it? Is it naturally wavy or straight? Hope it's not weird to ask.
Best, Sasha
Haha aw thank you so much!! Honestly my hair is pretty coarse so it holds a curl really well 😂 a blessing and a curse because it doesn’t feel very soft!
Where you got your coffee table from ??? So pretty!!!
His little deep inhale and exhale was so adorable @6:46 🥰
Where did you get your bassinet?
Where did you get the diaper changing thingy from? ❤
Where is the bassinet from?
Where did you get your bedroom dresser? We have had so much trouble finding one that is sturdy and doesn't break easily!
This is the IKEA Hemnes :) It's been my husband + I's main dresser for 5 years and has also been the change table for two of our newborns now haha... multi-purpose!
