- Fire Department Coffee is offering some helpful tips for National Fire Prevention Week to help keep you and your loved ones safe. Candles seem like a fine idea until you realize that you are intentionally setting tiny fires inside your home. What happens to tiny fires? Sometimes, they become big fires. LED candles have all the benefits of a real candle without that pesky fire.
Fire Department Coffee is run by firefighters, veteran-owned and freshly roasted to order. We proudly give back to our fellow firefighters and first responders who have been injured on the job, mentally or physically, or who are facing other serious health challenges.

That man is the Lorax, he speaks for Da Trees.
He speaks for the LEDs. Get rid of your old candles 🕯
That is why on Chanukah when the Menorahs are lit, we always have a fire extinguisher right near it, as well as setting it on a tinfoil lined table.
There's also candle warmer (it looks like a desk lamp) but some of them are really pretty and the candle scent did come out
The only time I use candles are for mosquito repellant. I always put them in an isolated spot on a ceramic astray to minimize the risk.
So Wildland drip torches are gas can-dles…………
0:36 LOL, they've put Max Damage from Carmageddon in it!
I prefer to burn certain (quality wax) candles for air purification and natural scenting to my home, but I never leave it unattended. It shocks me when people just have them burning anywhere and everywhere at all times of day.
Some pf those LED candles look surprisingly realistic. Some poor soul lost her home and her cat because of candles a short time ago. Not worth the risk.
i call you just so i can hear " i told you so " with that mousy voice
I miss real candles. But with ten potential CAT-DLES in here, it just isn't smart.
Lol
No.
i get what you mean but real candles are better... AND I KNOW TO KEEP THEM AWAY FROM STUFF THAT CAN LIT ON FIRE
