Same. This is gonna be the new standard I will see him with: Great focus and intensity on defense and great movement and cuts on offense. If he translates this into the NBA, well…. the West is as wildly open as it’ll ever be.
As a Suns hater I was impressed by Booker and Durant, when you root against a team you tend to just see the bad, I thought Booker was just a trash talker, cheering for the USA I saw all of the USA players differently, Booker was very unselfish and underrated and Durant was Durant. I saw that Durant just likes basketball, I was mad at him for leaving the Warriors, I can almost see me self wanting Booker and Kevin to get a ring, just not at the expense of Curry.
This Olympics unlocks everything booker should be. On ball full court press defensive guard , elite shot creator and spot up shooter. With Tyus Jones as PG I hope booker locks in on this
People forget the USA teams in basketball usually only have a month or two to gel as a team. Where teams overseas tend to have played together for years. Thats why they may seem so efficient and effective. Individual raw talent and experience tend to power the USA through. Serbia is a force I cant wait to see develope. And Frances women's team is ridiculously good. Almost makes you want to root for them. Almost until you remember your an American. USA USA USA USA USA USA USA ❤
D Book was him during this Olympic run. The man outside the spotlight, hidden in plain sight, like the dark matters keeping everything together unseen. He said he'd do it, and he did.
I Love Our Suns...But ,Steph Different He Should have Got The MVP....LeBron Did Good Too....Durant and Booker Played Well ...I felt Bad For Tatum not Getting More playing Time
Not really a fan, but I have to give Booker his flowers. He was amazing on defense, he seemed focused, intense, and had great cuts and shots, his presence was felt and he battled hard. Gotta see this in the NBA!
Are you serious or just trolling? Maybe this is because you only have Soccer. Not only have we been there, done that, we have Football to scratch that itch. Basketball is about endurance, athleticism and skill, not wrestling. It’s not like your teams didn’t get to play their style of ball either, they did and still got spanked. This WIN shows you why we evolved from that style of play. LOSERS eventually got tired of seeing the highlight clips of giving busted noses, body checks and broken bones to go with all those L’s.
I can't stand Curry and the way he's been allowed to ruin the game of basketball by influencing every kid to want to shoot 3s from 5-20 feet beyond the line. He was horrible for all but 2 games. The USA should feel as pathetic as they looked by having to rely on Curry bailing them out in order to win against France. Watching the physicality and "team play" of the other countries proved just how much of a joke the NBA game is in comparison. The USA won this time, but there aren't any guarantees of wnning gold in the future. The NBA players are soft and they don't play the game the way it should.be played. I refuse to celebrate Curry and his lucky shooting today. Yes, he's a good shooter, but his shot selections sucks, and so does his defense. It's a shame the USA team needed him to get hot in order to win. It soured what should have been a sweet victory. At least for those of us who understand and appreciate the game.of basketball.
If the shot selection sucks but they go in over an entire career at 40% or higher, does it suck for that player? As for kids, that’s up to coaches to teach why Steph can do that and why a 12 year old can’t. Steph grew up shooting midrange shots! Look up clips of a young Steph Curry practicing with his dad Dell Curry
@@marcr196 I respect your points. Steve Kerr is one of the culprits because he runs an offense that gives Steph the green light to shoot anytime and anywhere. Ultimately the emphasis on the 3 point shot has ruined the NBA game. Ultimately, that's my point! The other countries are still playing basketball and it's WORKING! That's how a team like France or Serbia can compete. Ironically Steph's first NBA coach, Mark Jackson has the same idea I have about how to fix the NBA, but the league won't do it. If the NBA eliminated the corner 3 pointer it would change the spacing and create more drives and more post up opportunities. It would make the game inside out again which would allow for a more balanced game. A dunk or layup is still a 90+% shot. Inside moves and talent would be back so players like Yabusele could play in the NBA. Don't get me wrong. Steph is a very good shooter, but the green light to be able to shoot all the time from anywhere is ruining the game.
@@symunut9316 Serbia only got such a big lead because of the combo of inside and out. They were lights out shooting from 3 and Jokic is one of the few guys who can be efficient in the post. I understand your point about the aesthetics of the game being ruined though. I think we’ve reached peak 3 pointer though, and we’re due for a correction. We have a lot of guys who can’t shoot 35% from 3 shooting them, while offenses continue to get more efficient at the basket
Dubs fans here, these games made me into a Book fan
Me too, and I hated him.
Same. This is gonna be the new standard I will see him with: Great focus and intensity on defense and great movement and cuts on offense. If he translates this into the NBA, well…. the West is as wildly open as it’ll ever be.
Same what a great player never liked him until now 😂😂
Steph was goddamn unreal… felt good to root for that guy for a minute lol
It felt hella good rooting for all of them. USA USA USA! haha
Dubs fan here! Love the respect! Much love to the pod 🙌🏾

Steph was godlike. Booker was so amazing too such a winning player

Kevin Durant Show He's Still Elite
4/4
Suns will be great if Beal come of the bench. Also the suns should try to sign those 2 players : Guerschon Yabusele and Aleksa Avramović.
Go suns!

steph shouldn’t have got mvp lol he wasn’t good until the semis where he turned it around and popped off

Steph loves to play on the road Game 4 and 6 against Celtics, game 7 against Kings and Now against the home crowd of France
The battle tested USA players really showed they deserved to be champs rapper Powerman Mc said it would be a 10 or 12 point win he was right .
Both played great. But it shows how the Suns team is not up to supporting these two.
No wonder Lebrun always wanted to play with chef curry… Now I see why

Idc about no Gold medal with a stacked team, win a real championship in the best League in the world.
Uhh ok
@@Velveteenvisiontouche lol what a weird comment about a gold medal, right?
so what's the big deal playing against plumbers lmao
The rookie of the year and defensive player of the year were on the other team lol
