What always helped me when wrapping my hair is parting it down the middle first to help the wrap flow

Wrap hack: use Bobby pins, then use the an old school wave cap to keep the hair tight so the wrap stays in place. Then put your scarf on

Your hair is beautiful Miya! I can’t wait for you to take us thru ur hair journey. My natural hair is super long! Not going to lie I wanna cut it so bad but my stylist and my sister who is also a stylist keeps begging me not to. I went n got my braids out a couple weeks ago and my hair after being blown out was passed the stylist chair 😮 Going natural 17 yrs ago was the best for my hair tbh. I don’t ever put heat on it unless it’s getting blown out by a professional, my last silk press my sister did back in April. I usually keep my hair in a sewin, occasionally I’ll do braids. By the time I’m 45, I want my hair butt length and I’m well on my way. It is hard to wrap your hair when it’s freshly done but just keep one hand on the head as you just wrap ur hair around. It might even help to part a lil section as wrap it as you go. I was going to also recommend hair vitamins by olly, I’ve started taking them and I’m going to see how much my hair grows by the first of 2024. Hope that’s helps!

Hey Miya I normally use a wig cap when wrapping my hair it helps to keep it all in place then layer with scarf or bonnet 😊

My hair is like that the first day. Try a paddle brush. And I use the wrap bobby pins the 1st day.

Your hair is beautiful. The way I do it is... I follow the side part from the end and bring it down the side by the ear tip. Start wrapping from the back and bring it around to the front use a Bobby pin to hold on place the tie the scarf on. Good luck

Oowweee your hair is looking sooo good 😍 next time use a paddle brush to wrap your hair. The first couple days of a nice silky silk press is a struggle when wrapping because it don’t want to stay 😂 lol but a paddle brush will work sooo much better.

I know this old but I kept saying “girl keep your hands out of it!!!” 😂😂😂 she did a phenomenal job and comb the bang forward and wrap around. Use a net cap as well so you just twist it around and it lets the hair breathe
