Good informational video. A good reason why the cheap fix costs more. (Do what you need to do to get home in a pinch. Cant hate on that.) I worked at auto parts stores for a couple years. I always tried to tell ppl to just get the whole set and replace both head gaskets at the same time just in case something like this happened. A few of them came back to say thanks for the advice because it saved them from doing it all over again and spendimg twice as much re-fixing it later. Same with any part where you have multiples, (spark plugs, ball joints, wheel bearings, etc.)
I learned this many years ago with my old dc4 integra. Out of the blue, i blew the head gasket, the engine ran perfect, had excellent compression all across and drove great, no oil in coolant, but it always blew a coolant hose.. what ended up happening, compression was getting inside the coolant system, but no oil in the coolant system.. with excellent compression.. have no clue how. very very sneaky leak.
I have an 06 base. 173k miles. I have all respect for your patience. Knowledge and humility! Damn!

All of it was a waste as the block ended up being warped as well. Saved a lot of money and got a great deal on the J37a2
Im thinking about j37 swapping my tl. But for ease, im just gonna get a 3.2 and run it stock for a while

Man I have a 04 TL in the damn VSA light is on. Is there a way to clear this light?
When is part 4????🤔
Whenever the machine shop finishes their end and I get the heads back I'll be able to keep working 🤷
Is the deck warped? Plastic melted onto the head. I'm thinking this thing needs a motor
