Great vid, you covered so many bases here! Thanks a bunch for sharing my info! Also, Lau Bun sounds like a bad dude! I can only imagine the kind of vibes it would put out to walk around with a pair of those at your hip!
Just a slight pronunciation nitpick: it is pronounced 'hoo dee-ehn daa-oh'. My main gripe is how you pronounce Dao, when it has a distinct sound in Mandarin 'daa-oh'. Thanks for the clip!
Ha! I often slip up when trying to use Mandarin terminology. All of the terms in my training have been in Cantonese, so I constantly mix them up. Thanks for the correction!
I have a pair of Butterfly knifes. Heavy metal ones. Where can I learn how to practice and use them? Like, is there somebody to teach basic online lessons?
I'm sure there are many online classes available, just take your time to search them out. In the meantime, I have some movements, techniques, and combinations in this playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLB_2FAZlJ_bcLAequi1BfbqipGUo_qWQB.html all about Butterfly Knives. Have fun!!!
Hi there! I'm considering to buy one metal butterfly knives and please can you share what is the best length of (blade) knife itself due to my arms length (elbow to fist example)? Elbow to fist is 27cm, so is it good to have 33 cm of blade i.e. 46cm as a whole? Thanks
Most manufacturers go by blade length, so find the closest available to option to 27cm. I prefer to go with longer than shorter, but that opinion could vary from practitioner to practitioner.

Belle arme et manipulation à deux mains ; excellent merci Sifu🙏🏼☯️
In the US Civil War the confederates used d-guards bowie knives that look very similar.
