Fun to watch your reactions! The vapours are certainly a nice experiment. And it is one for the geeks. Guess this is not for the beginner, but rather an educational experience for someone who knows a bit about Whisky, I guess.
I was drinking this while watching your review, I absolutely love this version, especially at the price point I paid!! And finding out about reading sci fi as your go to only made me love you guys more!!
All bourbon aged. Just got my hands on a 50.2% version. It's a great dram for sure, definitely a sizable difference between this and any of their other releases. Has the vegetal character of Correyvrecken, but maybe not the body (could be partially due to the proof difference). It's expensive but worth a try. Would be nice if they made it a regular release, it's a really unique product.
It's like a lower proof dirtier heavier Corry. The smoke is definitely different. But after having both, especially after water it's dead on Corry but funky.
Theres two different bottles of the heavy vapors, one is 50% and the other is 46%. The lower comes in a cool box, the other is just the bottle, I bought both and am on the hunt for a couple more.
Great review. I love the Ardbeg 10 as a staple in my collection. Awesome!

Just had a dram on the back of your fantastic review. 👌

Them vapours knocked me out off my shoes....
What Sci fi novel do you both recommend? Cheers!
Typical reaction to many an Ardbeg: "It's OTT but I like it", at 7:05

Competition to Octomore?
No not nearly that Smokey. Still delicious though.
Great question.

What are some good whiskeys to start with as a beginning taster?
Don't start on peaty whisky not a good idea I'd recommend any talisker brand
I'd agree with the Talisker. No peat, I'd recommend glenfiddich 12. Very nice one to start with.
@@rodolfoperalto Thanks
Glenfiddich 12 is the go-to starter, definitely.
I would suggest Glenfidrich 12, Glenmorangie 10, Glenlivet, Arran 10.
