Finally, Augustin is the first reactor I've seen that makes the connection with Jim Carey and the Mask. Fun fact, that was a mask of Loki.
I love the idea that Casey was one of the Alcatraz escapees that never turned up. Between that and Loki being DB Cooper from the first episode, I'd like to think all unsolved mysteries now work for the TVA. Bigfoot probably validates parking at TVA headquarters.

My theory why Sylvie didn't get "reset" was because she was never a part of the TVA--and she also has He Who Remains' tempad. I believe the TVA's "failsafe" is resetting all of its employed variants into their branches, which excludes Sylvie (and Loki).
I’m assuming since she had her tempad after the meltdown, she probably just timedoored outta there, but that’s a good theory too as for why she didn’t forget

Sylvie had a tempad when the loom exploded. She didn't reset. She left.

This series is one of those rare shows that you can watch over and over again. Easily the best thing Marvel has produced.
Been watching y'all for a while now. But, sometimes your videos are not the easiest to watch. Three people, sometimes talking at the same time, often talking over the dialogue of the video, and periodically going into lengthy explanations, affecting the pace of the reactions. Maybe simplify?
Exactly my thoughts too. Especially hector. I have no problem with talking, but 5-6 sentences straight? In the middle of a crucial dialogue and scene. I hope they keep the theorizing part at the end of the reaction
@@rounak.mahato I see this happen with other reactors more often than not. Only a select few allow things to move smoothly without having every scene broken down and talked about in length, or laughed and joked at, especially when it's a poignant or heartwarming one. And, yes, Hector elaborates way too much, much too often.
This season was a bit confusing for me (and my mom) but thanks to rewatching it with you guys the pieces are finally falling in place 😊
Ya i usually watch a bunch of reactions after each episode and it really helps to understand it all.
The writers relied on visual storytelling a lot, and when asked in interviews about what happened, they explained that it's all there, you just need to look.
So they purposely didn't want to over explain things because they want people to think on it, discuss it, and imagine.
I think that it is a nice touch for an MCU project.

I said before but the best things about the series is just how even the most knowledgeable comic book folks had NO IDEA what the heck was going on. Like there were literally more totally wrong predictions for this series than even WandaVision and it was so funny
Watching 5 & 6 together really takes away from the ending of 5. I have more fun when I don't binge these shows
(I watched 6 a week after, the thrills/waiting after 5 was amazing)
Remember that we have been told that all of the persons shanghaied to staff the TVA were originally grabbed from Branched timelines before those timelines were erased.

Loki survived because he has no timeline, his 2012 got pruned, and he got pruned TWICE in the TVA, which i assume caused him to be remain there while everyone else returned to their origin.

one negative side of reading comic is that you can't fully enjoy the show without thinking how mcu will make new character or character development and keep comparing with comic :)) and you already know mcu only make 20 or 30% accurate with comic.

Dude the fact that this show managed to take the pure core and true substance of Loki's journey in the comics and adapted it so well to finally make him the god of stories? FAM LIKE YOU DIBT UNDERSTAND AT THIS POINT I WAS ALREADY CRYING. I got to feel what I truly rarely get, to experience a fantastic adaptation of something I've witnessed on paper since I was a kiddo. God I'm so happy

Sylvie timeline was prune when she was a child, it no longer exist. That's probably why she went to that timeline where she works at McDonald's after killing HWR.

14:42 I think Sylvie stayed on the branches timeline because her original timeline was pruned. It seems as though the others were just plucked from their original locations, which still exist.
I may be off the mark with this but I'm assuming the branched timelines didn't exist when Thanos did the snap so there was nothing to snap. Only after Sylvie did the stab. Also wasn't he only snapping our universe? Not the multiverse. Though Thanos clearly also existed in other universes because the Illuminati defeated him in that one in DS2 right? 🤯
