In this video, I have shared my first experience of using high-speed trains in Russia ( First time ever also ).
On this day, I was travelling from Moscow to St. Petersburg, in the beginning, I planned to Hitchhike from Moscow to St Peterburg, but after that, I decided to take the train till Tver, and from there I started hitchhiking to Peters.
This was my first time when I have used trains in the foreign land, and I was really amazed by the cleanliness and punctuality of Russian Railways.

Maintenance of Train and railway station can be expensive.
Plus, Russia is not crowded like India... so less people travels.
So, literally 2-3 times the ticket price. So, i think price is justified.

230 ruble is for 90km that too in a AC super fast train... Its cheaper than Mumbai to Pune
it is slightly double to our journeys but their gdps higher standard of living is higher
I have traveled on the best Russian and European trains and I can honestly say Russian trains are just as good or slightly better both overnight trains and the bullet train to St. Petersburg. Absolutely, stunning are Russian train journeys. Although the EuroStar and European trains are very nice and on time too. The very best trains of my life journey was in Switzerland.

When traveling to Russia and Europe, don't compare the cost of traveling because it's expensive compared to India... Once 4 Indians came to Russia, Sochi and they told me they were charged 200 roubles for 2 km.. I told them this is Russia.. The standard of living is different..

I was in Poland and Germany so I think we can say they are almost as clean as this train. Europe is mostly clean and full of nature and less population
i personally feel soviet era trains and their technology is always the best compared to other western countries u must see the routes between vladivostok and china .they are awesome.

for those people who saying 230 is not expensive for 97 km
in india for 300 km 105rs for genral and about 225 for sleeper
so according to distance yes that was expensive.

First you are saying it’s expensive then you want Shatabadi like food. Bhai kya chaiyehe tumhe. Trains in Europe are double and may be triple expensive then this. If you want cleanliness and well maintained transport you need to pay like same. It’s as simple as that.

The trains in Hamburg are maybe a bit newer with better displays etc but it’s almost the same standard comparing with the Train you were in. Of course, 1st class is always a bit better and more comfortable. And the prices: 230 Rubels for 97km. Ist less than 3€. In Germany you would pay Minimum 15€ for such a ride.

India me , gathiman express train delhi to gwalior ( via agra. ) bahuth jabardasth hai , india ka sabse fastest train hai , 160kmph .. aur ticket thoda sa zyada lagta hai , phir bhi saaf suthra aur secured train hai , khana bhi include hai , mein delhi se agra gayi thi taj Mahal dekne keliye , really it was a nice experience .. khana tho zabardasth tha .. 😌❤

I have travelled back and forth between Prague and Vienna. It was an amazing experience for me. Not to mention the trains were better than many airlines in terms of cleanliness.

The 230 rouble train is calling electrichka.. And for your information there's toilet and many charging points. Toilet are very well maintained.

Mei japan ki shinkansen mei baith chuka hu aur yeh uske samne kuch nhi hai. Woh toh 280kmph touch kiya tha.
Bhai ab toh India mein bhi kaafi time se 160 kmph ki train chal rahi hai. Gatimaan Express 160 kmph touch karti hai. Bhopal Shatabdi Express 150-155 kmph mein travel karti hai. Ab toh Push-pull Rajdhani bhi 150+ speed mein chalti hai.

Russian trains are inexpensive. You should try trains in Europe or United States. I found Russia to be very cheap when it comes to train fares in USD.
The one you are riding is the Electrischka, same as the suburban trains in Bombay and Chennai.
