The worst part about being a vet and a pet owner is you know all the things that COULD be wrong, instead of being blissfully ignorant like the rest of us 😢

Our Tumble’s spine also burst after 3 years of steady spinal deterioration. He was already 17 years old and the vet decided not to put her through surgery. RIP our darling Tumble.
I had a seizure dog. Once it happened at the dog park. An amazing thing happened. One dog came and laid by her as the seizure was ending. Another dog came and sat close, upright and alert with his back to them. A lady asked if we were okay. I told her Mabel had a seizure and would be okay in a few minutes. The other dogs were hers. She said one was really especially empathetic, the one laying with Mabel. We were both surprised by the other one protectively keeping watch. Mabel came out of it and everyone went their own way. It was extraordinary.
A few weeks ago, I witnessed a cat at the shelter I volunteer at (it’s for college) having a seizure and it was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever seen in a long time. The cat didn’t have a seizure since then and we all assumed it was stress related as they were a recent surrender (I just hope the owner didn’t surrender them because of the seizures). I can feel Danni’s pain having to witness such a thing. I’m really glad that Bear is doing well now. Having to witness your own pet having a seizure is no easy thing to deal with :(

I can’t watch this. It brings back the memory of the death of every pet I have ever had. And I can’t do that again. I hope every pet gets cured and has lots of happy years with their family.
When Scott bursts into tears so do I. I hadn't seen all of these yet so it was a rare treat seeing something new. My box of Kleenex got a workout though!

The stories on this video are so heartbreaking. I was crying so much especially when Dr. Scott was so concerned about his little one. I was so much relieved seeing they all had happy endings. Of course, we love our pets and should always look into these health issues right away. 👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤

It's so touching and fantastic to be able to see these vets reaction and way of handling their pets challenges. And it's also good for their customers, to have been in simular situations to them.

I’m the human version of almost the same injury & surgery at 2 levels. I learned to walk again but could never run or jog or skate. I was a figure skater ⛸️⛸️

THEY'RE JUST ABLE TO SPEAK HUMAN. IT WAS HEART WRETCHING TO HEAR BETTY'S WIMPERING. DOGS DON'T MAKE THAT SOUND UNLESS THINGS ARE REALLY BAD.
actually...the only reason that we get sad by our pets sickness or their death is our memory we have had with them.....for me to see suffer/ injury or death of every kind of critters is sad....😢😢😢

My 15 yr old dog has had 3 seizures in 6 months. First one scared me really badly. I wish I had seen this so I would have known what to expect. The last one, I just timed. Less than 5 minutes. Blood work normal. Can’t afford further testing. In USA. And she is 15
