I just got into the soaping biz and wow, I’m in a state of shock at how much else is involved other than making the soap. It’s inventory, it’s videos and tutorials, it’s editing and lighting, packaging, editing, printing, labeling, cleaning, beveling. It’s advertising, a crash course in attractive photo taking, maintaining Pinterest, Facebook, Etsy, youtube, and more. It’s communication and emails. It’s cleaning cleaning and more cleaning. Organizing your entire house for all the oils and molds. It’s A LOT AND I LOVE IT! Thank you for your videos, they are helpful and informative!

One of the things people don't seem to get is that when you buy something from an artisan, you aren't paying for bulk ingredients being blended up by a machine. You're paying for the time that a person spent designing, creating, and packaging that item just for you.

Wow, this video was just gorgeous. The attention to detail, how everything fit in the packages so well (I swear, it was like you chose your bar size based on your box size... so good, oh so good), how perfectly organized and confident you were! And I've got to admit, I've struggled with tissue paper my ENTIRE LIFE and I think you just taught me how to not be a klutz with it anymore, LOL. Great video, I'm sure I'll be watching it many times!

Hi there. I enjoy watching your videos very much. Even though I have been a soap maker for almost 20 years now and had a business for 10 of those years, I have to admit, I have label envy. I have always struggled with label making. Of course when I started, all I had was a word processing program on my old windows computer. What a nightmare that used to be!!! Especially since I knew nothing about word processing. LOL!!! Things are soooo very much easier today. I have been using online labels to design my labels and I have quite surprised myself by making some very lovely labels ( I am a hobby soaper now, but I label everything before I give it away). I had a beautiful logo made by someone on etsy, but I am confused as to where to find decorative graphics, backgrounds and borders to purchase. My labels still need a little something. Do you have any suggestions on where to find nice graphics? Thank you in advance if you have any suggestions for teaching this old soap dog some new label tricks.

You rock! I clicked on the link below for the paper cutter put its not like yours. I love the different blades that are included. Also please tell me the paper you use for round labels and soap labels. I love the attention to detail.
