I remember a panel where they were talking about making this show, and they wrote the bit about Mike getting stuck on the roof before asking Kiell if he was scared of heights
The first time I watched this show, I thought Robin was Robert Hartley from Viva la dirt league (he's also a Game Master in D&D games). One of his D&D voices is exactly like Robin's too
I recommend a TV series called "FROM" (2022). Maaaaybe it's not reaction material, ask around if it is, but for me it is of the slow, creeping, horror genre, so I'm not sure if the pacing will be ideal for content. But if you think it's good enough, it's worth a watch. It might remind you a combination of Mist, The Village, Langoliers, and other similar horror films
According to the house's website, Henry 8th owned it, gave it to his cousin who was later executed, and then Henry took it back. It remained crown property until it was given to Sir Walter Raleigh's son by Elizabeth the first.
This is one of my least-rewatched episodes but it actually has so many great quotable bits!! it's probably because the next four episodes are some of the best in the entire show in my opinion so 2x01 and 2x02 tend to get a bit lost
oh she says more things to Thomas in the future that will make you surprised. The stuff with the plague ghosts are my favorite part of this episode but the main plot of this one isn't my favorite.
"Killed my kids mate" is something I quote too often
The bloopers with Alison stuffing Dante with the tissues.... they all struggled to get through that scene!
I was about to say this.

Julian is played by Simon Farnaby. Incredibly successful script writer now and very funny man. Should have been Doctor Who IMHO.
He's also fantastic in The Detectorists
His face is all wooden, like a conker.
😅
He wrote paddington movies
@@cornishbluebird And played the security guard who fancies Mr Brown.
3.57 "whoever wrote this....." This one was Mat and Jim (Thomas and Pat). :)
The lord Byron poetry got me at the start 😂
Byron callback got a really heartfelt laugh from me 😁
lmao u calling larry 'she' at 8:32 made me laugh a little. he is known to make a convincing woman
Larry's Plague Ghost character is totally like the character 'Ian' he plays in Bill. Same look, same put-upon victim.
Yonderland has so many great examples of Larry’s versatility. In Ghosts his plague victims name is Nigel
0:24 Our man has props now?!
Kiell (Mike) has got no shoes on!
you have to check out this casts horrible histories songs they are og
I visited West Horsham Place in Surrey (Button House) and there's no access to the roof anywhere. So definetly CGI.

I love this episode. I wish you'd never mentioned the roof CGI, as I'd never noticed it before- but you're right- it is Bad!
Stupid Deaths us my favorite. I was him fir Halloween a few years ago!
Charlotte Ritchie’s hungover act is so convincing it makes me want to quit drinking!
This episode is brilliant 😂

The house they film in is from the 16th century and Henry 8th did dine there so they wouldn't be allowed on the roof. You can do tours of the house
