Wonderful paint job! The grime/rust streaks with the mig oil streakers turned out so well! I love the tip of adding beige to the matte varnish to give a dusty appearance. Definitely something I'll probably add to some of my own pieces!
I use oil washes for crevasses now of days. Basically anything bigger than a 32mm base model I also paint with oil as well. Acrylics are still great for small models and mechanical looking models though.
Vellejo model color when thinned properly makes an excellent brush paint if you're someone who doesn't have an airbrush, or if you don't like airbrush...
Note: The lighting kit does NOT come with the standard edition. That was the only thing that the Limited Edition kit offered. Note the lighting kit is available as an after market add on should you want the plug and play lighting option. I think it's way too over priced and would rather do my own lighting that will include the cockpit and guns.
I'm on the 4th season of rebels and I don't recall seeing this craft yet. Unless it was the prototype from the first season which I really don't remember anything about it other than: it was a B-wing.
Word of warning for future Bandai kits: The plastic absolutely HATES any form of mineral thinners and tends to disintegrate of you don’t ensure the undercoat is completely sealed.
I hate when people use the word snap when describing these models yes it’s true glue is not necessary in the construction of these Bandai kits but they are anything but a cheap snap kit like I used to build as a kid..! These kits are just so well designed that glue can be used but is unnecessary there are no peg and holes like a standard snap kit would have these pieces fit together like a fine puzzle Calling Bandai kits ,snap kits , would be the same as calling a fine wine grape juice
That's great paint job. I've never used oils for weathering but the result is superb for a batterd space craft.👍
Awesome Coast Guard B-Wing. I love the build up and paint job.

Cool, and thank you - I have really missed the vehicle builds on the channel, so this was a treat.
Hey T, now this is a painting subject I can get into. 👋🏾
Lovely work.
Interesting tip with the graphite, haven't heard that before, but will give it a try
great video thanks for sharing
Love the color. Can you do a "Original Galactica" Colonial Viper with a Metallic and Orange paint scheme.
looks good to me and yes that fuzzy co star whast a dava all in all a good kit look like fun to do see as post new
looks great. It takes me awhile to complete a model, I'm in the garage in Florida. I have to contend with laundry and summer.

Great build👍
The B-wing and the Y wing are two kits I really wish they would go bigger with. 1/72 is too small. Why not go bigger?
Where Have You been ? Missed You .
This is ace mate, Cera is the girl that flies it 😁👌
Hera Syndulla?
@@jimmd68 thanks for the correction mate 😁👍

I couldn't get the correct color of LED for this kit where I live. So I ended up getting a chinese copy of the LED unit.
@@sashi4440 Yeah, the B-Wing engine lights are pink, which are not as commonly available unless you are piecemealing it.

It was in the second season. It was called the “Blade Wing” and Hera flew it to help the Ghost bring supplies to some people in need.
that is why it is called a comic CON
Box empty, Marve goes in.

Is anyone else's set miss labeling C20-C24?
Why don't you try to make a gundam now that you built a bandai model?
more importantly:
did the cat approve?
Rebels version, as in Di$ney Star Wars version and as a result, the non canon version of the B-Wing prototype.
lol it’s canon, get over it. All Disney Star Wars is canon. Saying it’s not doesn’t mean it isn’t.
You know what makes it a Limited Edition?......................Not a damn thing!
Lighting kit.
