Cream is three incredible musicians, THREE. I listened to this song and a flood of emotions swept over me and a tear formed in my eye, then I realised that if it had that effect on me, what must it have felt like for them? Thank you Cream for showing the music world exactly how it's done, regardless of how many years have come and gone. Timeless brilliance.

Does anybody notice the quality of Clapton's rhythm guitar playing while singing in an extraordinary way? He is a great singer, great rhythm and lead guitarist and composer. He has always been great in the studio and he also delivered on stage. He played with the greatest and also gave his musicianship as a guest to others. And he influenced millions of other guitar players. He is a really a complete musician and artist - thanks!!

Sometimes the moon and stars line up just right. A chance meeting of three guys who were pro's, knew how to play, knew how to write and had the pulse of the generation of their time. Not unlike The Beatles, The Who etc. And so many years later they still sound to my ears anyway, almost unbelievable. Its really rare.

It was surreal and got even dafter when he got out and actually joined us for 10minutes.

What a treat this is. While watching I realized that whereas Clapton has been revered for decades for his guitar work, no one ever mentions his singing. His vocal styling ability has increased with age.

Saw them on that tour in MSG....what a talented group. You could make a case for each of them to be the best ever at their instrument.
Only drawback is the short time they were together, only 4 studio albums. But they crammed a lot of great music into those four.

They can still show how its supposed to be done. This concert showed why Jack Bruce is one of the best bass players ever, Ginger Baker is one of the best drummers ever, and why Eric Clapton is God.

Always loved Cream, Jack Bruce was the only one who could keep up with Clapton, when Clapton went off so did Jack Bruce. Lol. He was soloing while yet returning to the pocket everytime. He had super speed with that one finger technique of his which is also like no one else's. Then ya got Ginger to tie it all together. Incredible.

Probably my favorite guitar lick of all time. Incidentally, best month and year of my life (3/68): got into the Cream concert at Kiel Audittorium in St. Louis free as a band boy. Also got me a high school lovely sweetheart. Heaven. Sad, but nothing comes close to those days, but I'll try. As Bob Hope said: "Thanks for the memories".
