As someone who uses two of these can in the UK, I can say they are fantastic. One thing you forgot to mention was that if you hold the fuel spout completely level with the fuel tank, once the tank of fuel is full it will stop flowing automatically, therefore NO guessing work. This can works on my Stihl, Husqvarna, Stiga and Makita equipment. Edit: Fantastic review, well thought out.
Good review, only one thing, you are not using the push spout the right way. You should make sure it is properly inserted in the gaz tank, and press down to open the spout. The nice thing about it, it’s that it will stop by itself. No need to rush to remove it.
Ok cool, I just bought this can after seeing this video : ua-cam.com/video/RSjQ-kTBktk/v-deo.html He really demonstrates the spout feature. Why don’t you use the « magic spout » for you bar oil too?
I wish they would either make a straight gas 5 gallon can like this, or make a nozzle that would be a generic fit on other gas cans, because this gas nozzle is perfect!
I have found that after a year, the o-ring in the tip has swollen up a bit so the sleeve doesn’t close all the way. It still seals, just not the way that it did when new.
These are good and your right that there is nothing better, it is a shame they do not make the previous one any more as imo it worked better and was better balanced, having used them both and the first one being stolen I much prefer the old one.
The pressure does build in it. So you should make sure it is released before sticking the nozzle down in the saw. I just pull back on the spout and release the pressure. Then fill
I bought one of these about 6 months ago, it’s one of the best tools I’ve ever bought. Especially with how insanely frustrating all these “safety” cans are these days. My only problem is I’m trying to get one for a friend of mine an can’t find them except on eBay for $150! Any leads one where to find one?
I just checked and can’t find it on amazon..... I guess eBay is going to be a last ditch effort. There may be some large Husqvarna dealers that may stock or be able to order one
TheDurbinCompound I’m pretty sure they don’t meet US epa specs maybe because they are orange not red so I doubt any dealers in the states will have them. It’s a shame these things are awesome. Glad I got one!
@@TheDurbinCompound i had mine 3 years now and the spring in the gas spout is starting to stiffin up sometimes it doesn't spring back fully, replacement spout are hard to find for a fair price, good video and thanks for the response 👍
@@firewoodwarrior4396 I've removed the o ring at the tip and I've tried pouring a small amount of 2 cycle in-between and let it sit for awhile. It still stiff and doesn't spring back fully. I've tried to hold the top off it but was pretty hard and stopped for fear of breaking it all together. If you have any suggestions it be greatly appreciated. 🤟

I purchased one today and I love it because it makes it really easy to fuel my Stihl brush cutter, chainsaws, hedge trimmer and my Ryobi blower/vac.

👍👍 I only used it like I did for the video. Trying to give the best point of view of the can. Thanks for the comment!

Just got one.
Yes, unbelievably HEAVY DUTY!!!
Got the two tool compartments off just to, you know, see how it comes apart.
Yeah the fit and finish is awesome for sure!

The fuel (black) nozzle will stop filling automatically when full, so will the oil (gray) nozzle.
Grey nosel is for winter, oil gets thicker in low temps.Thats why

How does it work in the heat of the summer?

Not a 2 gallon can? What's the mix of oil?

Your gas spout has an auto stop. Once the gas hits the top it stops automatically. Try it !!!!
I’ll try it. I really don’t trust it at all
