This is a genuine question that is the use of antiperspirants not prevelant in Japan? It is actually first time I have seen these pads used for excessive sweating and I am a little surprised, coming from a hot country myself, everyone there just uses antiperspirants. I remember watching a video ages back where this person has recently moved to Japan and mentioned something similar, that during summer time they could tell people smelt because apparently they did not use any deodarants. I really hope I have not offended anyone, I am genuinely intrigued about the subject.

I had no idea these pads exist either haha. I do think they use deodorants and antiperspirants but the point of these pads is probably an extra layer to prevent sweat from showing up on their shirts

I didn't know about these pads too I sweat alot but I'm no wakiase but I was really surprised by that here in North India it sometimes reaches to 48 deegre it so hot I think many people here who are wakiase can use that
