This channel is gonna blow up. Such informative and well-constructed videos that are applicable to so many disciplines of study. Currently writing my personal statement for an MEd program, God bless the YT algorithm for bringing me here.
I'm currently writing my personal statement for biological science and this video was so helpful! And you're spot on about work experience - I've spoken to multiple admissions officers and none of them expected it in applicants for natural sciences. They simply recommended engaging with the subject as much as possible :)
THANK YOU! oh god I thought I was screwed because I have no work experience. Thank you for giving me some hope. Applying for natural sciences this year!!!
Thank you so much for this! Could you please do one for physical natural sciences though?
Can you please make videos about how to write a personal statement for scholarships, thank u ur videos really help
Thank you I really needed this!
I love these videos! Do you think you could do one on forensic science? it would help me greatly :)
I am going to write my ucas ps and I am still unsure if I should go for medicine even tho I like it ( the subjects I took are bio chem and business, I took business cause my English wasn’t great and it’s one of the subjects where you write the most in a level, and I thought it would help me write and think more/better) also I don’t have much experience ( only had some “online classes” where other students and some doctors would explain and do most of the talking because of COVID)
Hey please do a video on internship ideas for highschool students . Also did you go to Cambridge as an international student?
No he is a UK student. If you are an international student, consider looking at virtual internships (a Google search is sufficient) and reading around your topic of interest
plsssssss do HSPS
If only I had seen this before I sent my application... When are interviews? I know Cambs (which I've applied to) is in December, but what about UCL, ICL and KCL?
How did you prepare for the BMAT?
We want more study productive videos
Come back pls
Imagine a doctor shaene reddit????
Work experience for a university student? Who cares?? I don't expect young people to have had particularly valuable work experience before 18.
Unless it's some internships at some scientific firms/tech companies for CS etc. but then that's what university is for! Make sure you get internships in the summer in at least one year, it will make a world of difference for your first real job!
How many people are watching this and realising how shit their statement is 😂
I texted you on Instagram but you haven't replied yet
:)
