another way to see mistakes at 1300 is watch apex’s old videos and then his new videos

c5 at 24:12 was kind of crazy because its a pawn sacrifice because white has Bxc5! but apparently this is bad for white because black has Bxf3 at the end of the line damaging white's kingside structure which you ended up getting in the game without the sacrifice. also, its not obvious from analysis that this is a sacrifice because the engine thinks c5 is the best move in the position so you can miss it if you rush the analysis.

Third game bringing out your queen to check and attack bishop ensures the knight lands on c3 which is what we want in the caro kann instead of the knight landing on d2. Love this series by the way. Multiple games with little stress just cruising 😂
