- We were lucky enough to spend a few days in Kent and explore a few of the historic towns and coastal areas. We spent a night in Canterbury before visiting the town of Sandwich, and the bay itself, along with seeing a little bit of Dover, Deal and Ramsgate. This is our trip in 15 minutes!

Lovely Vlog. Kent is a county we have not spent much time in, due to its distance from Yorkshire. It is laced with many interesting towns, as you show.
Thanks so much for watching and your comment, Yorkshire is like you say a distance away from Kent. For us it was a 2hr drive and as we were visiting a friend along the Kent coast, it made sense to stop at the historic towns and cities.
Canterbury is a must for anyone in the area or a day trip from London!
@@KellyandDoug John loves an old film - A Canterbury Tale. It's a wartime film and the denouement is in the Cathedral where redemption is found. Very strong wartime themes.
@@tworunningbrooms Hi thank you we will check it out. I watched your latest parkrun video this morning. your running tops are great and you travel to some great places. I had my first 50k race yesterday so was a bit late getting up today.

@@tworunningbrooms yeah it started at 1 in the afternoon. I ran at least 800 meters more than I should have and fell down a badger hole. I think it will be worth watching
