America is not stopping you, but their will be sanctions on companies doing business with Iran. That goes for all nations not just India.

Development of Chabahar Port is very necessary for India and Iran as well as boost their maritime trade and upgrade land connectivity to Afghanistan, Central Asia and Russia as well. The US is not in the state of daring to sanction India as it needs India for countering China. So yeah, I can totally agree that India is moving towards a very positive direction. An optimistic business vision.
Yea, sorry but America will sanction India and the companies that do trade with it. Just remember it not really America you need to worry about it Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel. Because he wants to make war with Iran. So you need watch out for him.
Indians should decide where ithe markets for its products are, and develop its supply lines accordingly. It was US who did not ask its companies to come to democratic India isntead of communist China, Vietnam, which it choose. If US wants to enforce sanctions without analyzing consequences for poor Indians, like providing reasonbly priced Oil, Gas and energy sources, it should be mindful to come in way of prosperity of Indians. Thank you for not considering Indian interests and points with regards to Pannu, increasing trade to displace CCP products with democratic products of partners and allies. Jai Shri Ram.
India is not trying make money with this deal. In fact, you probably be paying Iran and Afghanistan in the first 15 years. This more like a bribe for security. Just remember Iran and Afghanistan markets are very teeny, tiny. They don't have much of Middle Class so the can't buy manufactured goods. So most of their purchases probably is to buy food bulk which you don't make a lot of money on that.

India has endeavoured to cultivate good diplomatic relations with every country (including Israel) and India is now in a good position to promote the restoration of world peace. Incidentally India has a highly intelligent and industrious population an is fast becoming one of the most powerful nations of the 21st century. It would not be in America’s best interest to pick a quarrel with the India or to attempt to dictate foreign policy to India.
Generally the Indian foreign minister has been very forceful and emphatic in his comments on Western hegemonic behaviour. But this time he seems to be apologetic and petrified which indicates that if the American push comes to a shove, India will back down.
Sorry, but your focusing on the wrong nation. America is not the nation you worry about, it is Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to start a war with Iran. So watch your back.
