The fact that "Cuphead clone" is becoming a normalized term is actually going to give me a stroke

As a classic animation nerd, it's kind of incredible how I actually recognize most of these stolen animations lmfao. "Pigs in a Polka" and "Swing You Sinners" are some of my favorites. Also, sadly, I do not know what the cactus is from

For the cactus’ animation, it looks like the dance the girl character does from promotional material for the show “Lackadaisy”. In which case is VERY ILLEGAL considering how recent that is compared to everything else. Could be wrong, though, so feel free to take what I said with a grain of salt.
Enchanted Portals: Cuphead at home
This game REALLY did their homework, and by homework I mean copied every student in the class' homework to create this amalgamation of quite the...rubberhose rampage, you could say.

"Hall of the mountain king" having the boss speed up while the music gets more intense is too good for a 5 dollar game on the windows store

I’m pretty sure the dance animation for the cactus boss fight is traced from a video on the lackadaisy UA-cam channel called “jazz cat loop dance” from two years ago where a cat does the Charleston. The timing and weight of the character seems almost identical.
Uhyeah, the animation of the cactus dancing is from an Indie Animated show called “Lackadaisy” , it is in a short called “Lackadaisy-Jazz Dance Cat loop”
Lots of people recognize Lackadaisy's Ivy Pepper's Charleston dance as copyright infringement for that cactus boss fight, but the dance "Charleston" is an actual 1923 dance style, so it's not copyright infringement, but he definitely traced Ivy's looped animation, take that as you will!

That Mr. Hyde cartoon is indeed public domain, Phelous reviewed it and mentioned that it was public domain.

Actually, I’m pretty sure all the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit shorts entered the public domain in the 70’s because Universal didn’t renew the copyright. They were in the public domain way before Disney acquired the Oswald the Lucky Rabbit trademark (not copyright).
