- In this video we explore Haarlem. A short train ride from Amsterdam, the vibrant Dutch city is often overlooked by tourists and locals. But with its rich culture, scenery and attractions, it is certainly worth a visit, particularly for those wanting to see a side of the Netherlands other than that presented by the country's famous and chaotic capital. Join us as we visit various attractions including the city’s grand central train station, a local market, a highly-regarded traditional fish stand (Leo van Rhijn) and the National Park Zuid-Kennemerland.

Thanks for showing beautiful Haarlem, and going outside and step into the dunes.
At the park where you ate the fish, you have the museum Van de Geest. It is a beautiful museum.
A herring from Leo van Rijn, Frans Hals plein, I can confirm. Skip the onion, don't mess with a perfect taste.
Haarlem is the best!

Thanks, Calum. That's good to hear. Hope you have a great time in Haarlem!
I didn't even know Haarlem has dunes!
Great video, thanks.
As a kid I used to swim in that lake in the dunes. Often I would get a rash, red bumps so there's unfortunately something in the water. Lots of algea for sure which could be the cullprit. Haarlem is like a smaller version of Amsterdam, not so busy and more cozy.
Just spent a week in Haarlem. Used it for a base to explore other areas. But spent a lot of time just knocking about the city. One stop that's worth while is a visit to "Adrian" the windmill. Seems everything in town is an 8 to 10 minute walk from the " Grote Markt".
Yooooo I think ive seen you around! I live in Haarlem! LOL
Great video man!
Thanks, Itz SKY! Yes, you've certainly seen me around. We've met before, too!
Anywhere I went was gorgeous.

Thanks, Zakaria! I hope I get a chance to visit Morocco one day.
Sweet. Keep your eyes peeled for Kabouters. I hear De Peele and Twente are the hot spots but that looks likely gnome country to me.
a VERY underrated town indeed
Thanks for this overview! I wanted to ask how long you walk from Velserbroek to Haarlem centre? Thank you in advance!
Depends how fast you walk, but I'd say at least half an hour.
❤️❤️
Thank you! Whats the name of fish market store ? Im currently in Haarlem, i’d like to try it.
(Leo van Rhijn)
This water is a lake in Zuid-Kennemerland National Park
Seems windy
P.S., it isn't zoowid, it's pronounced z-ohwod-d. As in oh wow. Otherwisa a good vid.
