- Watch me transform before your eyes! Get ready with me as I remove my weave and give you an inside look at my box braid process. These are rainbow micro box braids done with synthetic kanekalon hair. The process of attaching the actual braid is basically the same as when I use yarn.

chowder125 I've put in some yarn braids before, but just like 5 or 6 in different spots or down one side. Much less work but still feels fun and looks cool. Like adding just highlights instead of coloring your whole hair. I also don't have that patience. I used Embroidery Floss too, which is smaller but strangely enough it's easier to work with for me. Maybe because my hair is thinner. Anyway, just two braids would also look great!

I was watching your video (and others like it) because I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and try box braids with a sort of rose gold pink color (I've never done a non-natural color before) and I was super nervous.
