- #UFC 273 Khamzat Chimaev vs Gilbert Burns is over
Khamzat Chimaev defeated Burns by unanimous decision and it was tough tough fight.
Some might say that Khamzat was hype, some might say he beat #2 ranked welterweight.
Either way, 4 months ago Khamzat was talking about the brawl that he wanted. Well, he got it! Happy for Borz!

Guys, I made this video to get your reactions after the fight.
I loved it. respect to both guys, Borz looked like a human, but remember the clips that I was posting? He talked about tapping, losing and wanting a brawl, so if anything he himself knew that this might happen. It's a win. On to the next one!
You filthy jahiliyya munafiqs of the fake path, filthy fake ''battle''s, naked women and bet money.
Good that your filthy ''god'' is exposed and beaten up. Now you started to future telling ha. When Islam comes, you filthy clowns will be cleaned first.
Khamzat kept it standing because of Gilberts bjj. Colby is not that dangerous on the ground like Gilbert. Khamzat will wrestle Colby and not avoid it like today.
Smeshh bros nice name. I loved the fight truly. People saying it made Khamzat look worse are delusional. It's not always about looking unstoppable well actually he still looked unstoppable. Khamzat ate the hardest shots during the fight especially in the second. It was back and forth.

He clearly won 2 out of 3 rounds. He needs Ronda Rousey's coach that yells "Head movement!" I think he got hit by too many punches and walked into some jabs. He needs to improve if he wants to beat the top 2 guys. I want him to be champ
@Joshua Smith fair enough
This fight will really help him in the long run. He finally got to know his weaknesses. Also got humbled.

He was close to a TKO early in the fight but the extended fight would benefit him more. It's top dogs from now on, no easy finishes even if it's media talk to sell fights. I think burns is probably a bigger challenge than most to come because his BJJ limited Khamzat's grappling. Great fight

People called him hype and wanted him to be tested. Now when he gets tested and shows his grit, people bitch about how he couldn't dominate a rank 2 fighter (in his 5th UFC fight)

Khamzat definitely belongs.
May not currently beat Usman, but he just reached his double digit pro fights. He has years of improvement left in him
fans still support him tho. Its those haters who finally found a "reason" to spread their toxicity even more
And he proved it against a game and great opponent. He has holes that he needs to work on just like anyone else. But jumping to #2 proves that he belongs there and not just hype.

Khamzat was meant to be humbled by someone, in a good way.. He's just 27 and it was his 5th fight, he will be champ
and good it was burns, great opponent
Khamzat started fighting in MMA 3 or 4 years ago, and 2 or 3 years with hands, and now in the best organization in the UFC he wins against 2 numbers. I knew that Burns is an experienced strong fighter, but Khamzat surprised me more, this guy will really be a champion if he continues! But this should be a lesson to him that it won't be easy to get into the top 10!
He just beat no 2 so he is the no2 guy nos
@Richard Newlin and why we over look he let burns stand up in the first round? Probably thought about the jutjisu.
Indeed. But I wondering if he isn't fasting when he is fighting burns. He will be stronger
@Biased UFC Shill walked into the jab, it was a direct hit with his chin
@Richard Newlin yeah he fought recklessly and still got a win we saw in the third round after he started following the game plan abit more he pieced up burns
He needs to get rid of all distractions (Daren Till) and focus on himself. He was far more disciplined and focused prior to Daren Till and you can see how negatively it has impacted him.
You're absolutely right.. Right when I saw him growing his hair and horsing around with Till, I knew something was wrong lol. I think Khamzat is extremely talented and an incredible athlete but his mental maturity is still not fully developed but again he's only 27 and is still a young dude. I think he needs to surround himself with the people he used to train with prior to this fight and reevaluate himself again. Because he could've lost it all with this fight..
I agree 100%. I saw an unmotivated, uninterested and an out of shape Chimaev today.. The day before weigh-in he didn't even sleep and I know this because Till was like "You look tired, why didn't you sleep last night" and I knew he wasn't kidding..I think losing focus in this game is one of the most dangerous thing a fighter can do. I hope he take this time to learn from his mistakes and not repeat the same thing again..
@@johnlemma401 the brain mentally and physically develops at 24-26......
💯... He should train at AKA gym but he messed up his friendship with Khabib's people..He seems like he was too confident with his wrestling and started focusing on his kickboxing way too much. He needs to wrestle and only use boxing when necessary.
@@xenomorph_420 There's a difference between structural, physiological development and psychological development and mental maturity. There are 30 year olds who behave like 15 year olds. His behavior is erratic and is making terrible decisions. I think he needs time alone to rethink his decisions and discuss everything with his coach and implement a new strategy to prevent him from making the same mistakes. He took a lot of punishment today and that will negatively effect his confidence and overall image. Based on today's performance, I can assure you that he is not ready for the more mature, calculated and focused Kamaru Usman. But, I hope that Khamzat will turn this experience to a positive one and work with the right people in order to prevent this from happening again..
Khamzat proved the hype is real! Showed grit and toughness in a highly critical fight of his career. I think he needs to improve his cardio if he’s going to face Colby or Usman. I suspect he had a rough weight cut and recovery which impacted his cardio.
Dont forget Ramadan aswell. Its tough on the body. Thats why Khabib never fought during Ramadan.
That is what we call a weight bully.
Burns got robbed
@@ocinpro lol using Ramadan as an excuse !! What a loser 😂😆
Depends what you mean by hype in terms of potential yes it's real, in terms of that aura of invincibility he had, that's gone now. He's now human who is vulnerable and gets hurt and bleeds red, Burns got that out of him, now he can be normal and improve his weaknesses
I feel Khamzat wanted to get some stand up rounds in tonight and get that experience with a top fighter. And he achieved that.
nah I think he saw that it was more difficult than he thought to take Burns down and probably didn't want to expend all that energy taking him down just to be met with Burn's elite jiu jitsu lol
@@awi9053 na I think taking burns down wasn't the problem because he took burns down quite early, I think it was the BJJ threat that he was worried about

Khamzat is being praised as a real contender.
Gilbert failed to stop him. Stop the shit
It was a risk to test himself like that.
This showed he has the skillset to go as far as he wants to.
If Khamzat actually follows a strict game plan I think the sky is the limit for him.
Gilbert was exactly right about the experience factor. I'm not sure if its he wanted to entertain the fans or just wanting to prove a point standing toe to toe all the fight but he could've made it much smoother if he implemented more wrestling. He also needs to work on more precision with the ground and pound in the guard and not flailing shots down leaving himself wide open.
Shavkat Rakhmonov melhor que o Khamzat Chimaev fato
this guy had 4 ufc fights and ended up beating the #2 in his division while he was #11. Something like that happening in any other division is near impossible.
Amazing fight. The amount of hype for khamzat to just dominate was insane. He might not have lived up to that unreasonable hype but damnit the fight lived up to the fight. It was exactly what he needed too. Experience like that is immeasurable going forward. I was so nervous for this fight and when khamzat got cracked and wobbled my heart skipped a beat. I feel like I've been in a fight after watching that shit haha.
CONGRATULATIONS Sir. What an excellent performance this evening. Thank you and much success with your UA-cam channel and efforts
Now we all can agree Usman is not easy fight for Khmazat
It’s the worst fight for him. Usman wrestling is probably better but I’m not sure of it is. But the stand up game? Dude usman knocks him out easy if he fights the same way he just fought

For a fighter who’s never bled and took one strike in his first four UFC fights wanting a war is crazy
He's a fighter
Everybody was expecting he would ragdoll burns like he always does. That just did not happen and make them frustrated.
Im happy. Khamzat deserve this for not fasting. F him
Don’t forget usman helped burns in camp.

He was too excited to knock Gilbert down . Finally his coach n Gilbert put some sense in his head in the 2nd round . Great learning for him , he is just 26-27 yrs old . GILBERT BURNS massive respect🙌🙌🙌🙌
Chimaev is prepared to die in the Cage he will never give up in a fight, He won The Fighter number 2 in Ranking now he will Destroy Usman.
He will give up if he fights usman the same way …
Chimaev has no gas tank.. that's why Usman will beat him

Khamzat needs to go back and find himself and his purpose again if he ever wants to equal khabib. I think khamzat was too busy living the crazy life with that bum Darren Till.

a tough fight was a gift for Chimaev and it will make him evolve even more, he will Absolutely fix all the Mistakes he made today.
Is this khamzat channel Salam bro
we've got some content on him here. you can explore for yourself
Even though Khamzat was declared the winner, I saw it as balanced. From this fight I hope Khamzat knows his weakness and fixes it soon. I saw that Khamzat could only punch, but couldn't box yet. He can also just kick, can't fight with kicks yet. Defense in holding fists by covering the face and letting the opponent punch him is stupid. He should practice boxing again at least 1 year. He has potential with his tall stature and long reach. Come on Khamzat! Practice your fists, kicks and how to dodge your opponent's punches. Not covering your face with your hands and your head. That really looks stupid!
Yeah I agree, his head movement was also bad..... He got hit with that over hand right by glibert so many times how did he not make adjustments to block our counter that
Imagine usman !!!
I like how this is all without hindsight...khamzats got the charm, both in character, and out.

The man genuinely loves to fight. He got pretty beat up for maybe the first time ever and he handled it well and maybe even enjoyed it.
He already thought he is khabib.
This fight proved that he is one of the top dog but also this proves that he is not invincible and can be knockout. When he's wrestling got neutralize and he's ground game wasn't working his opponent are having no fear throwing strikes to his face

no, whether it was intentional or not, I don't know, but he said that he wanted to test himself long before the fight with Burns was even announced. his trash talk on running through Burns is a different thing, you want to see fighters having this kind of attitude, but it doesn't mean he didn't want to go through war, sorry for long stuff

The way he welcomes it shows how a different breed he is. I'm sure this Khamzat last night beats Colby, might lose to Usman on points tho. But this was a good experience for him to not run thru a guy like always and see that he can overcome adversity. For example, we don't know how would Khabib react cause he never fought such stylistically dangerous opponent. With Khamzat, we know he got that covered as well.
People are seriously downplaying the level of burns just to say ‘the hype isn’t real’. Khamzat a beast. Fighting higher level opponents and gaining that experience will turn him into a bigger monster
I’m saying this guy wasn’t even ranked in the top 10 with 4 ufc fights and immediately jumped to fighting the number 2 ranked fighter who’s a killer who nearly knocked out Usman in the first round in a championship fight and won a close decision. To make that big of a jump ranked #11 and fight #2 and win is pretty rare and is extremely dangerous yet we still have people talking shit.
