Thanks for sharing that recipe! I never would have thought to use a bone in strip steak to make a soup. That's a genius idea! I also really like that you just used water. A lot of recipes call for quarts and quarts of beef stock, which can be pretty expensive to buy. I'm also really happy to see that you peeled the potatoes. I personally hate potato skins.
