I used to hate thrifting but I'm loving it lately and I think it's bcuz I'm starting to cultivate my personal style (with the help of your videos so thanks!). Thrifting becomes a lot easier once you identify your personal sense of style bcuz you can picture styling the pieces as you shop.

I love thrifting for that reason too - it encourages me to try new things I normally wouldn't if I'm not totally sure about them.
Argyle sweater would be cute styled with shorts (indigo denim, black denim) and black tights plus Mary janes. Bonus points for chunky gold jewelry!
Get a seam ripper and undo the stitching on the velcro on the Izod shirt. You need it. Definitely giving fall soccer league vibes. So cute on you!

love the haul!! cooperstown new york is where the baseball hall of fame is so i assume that hat is from that (i only know this cos i grew up in upstate ny with brothers who lived for baseball, so we went soooo many times when i was a kid lolol)

I think the navy argile sweater would be SO cute with some army green cargo pants and some sort of chunky sneaker. Just my personal thought!! This was probably my favorite thrift haul of yours, it makes me want to fly to California and go myself 😂

Love this video as always! I have a bit of a request / idea. As a fellow mid size girlie, I'm constantly trying to find good pants. I've seen some good ideas esp in your Hollister video recently! I'm wondering if you could do a "top 5 pants" or "my favorite brands for bottoms" kind of video. I'm sure you have a variety from thrifted/vintage to mainstream, so just getting some different "leads," if you will, would be so helpful please!!!

If you decide to keep the izod sweater, you can unstitch the velcro.
Amazing finds Carrie! Love everything you got! For the last sweater, how about adding a white collar button down shirt underneath so the collar peaks out on top. Maybe paired with some leggings or skirt with tights. I think that would be cute for fall.

The lowest I've ever paid for thrift store clothing was in the '90s. Fill up a whole paper sack for a dollar
More of that barefoot uphill in the snow ... We didn't have carts and had to sling all that shit over our arm and back 💪
Also the tags were stapled on so getting bloodied was the norm. Thrifting wasn't mainstream so there were always really good finds 🥰 😌😊

I would like to point out it is likely that the velcro is there as a customization someone did for someone in the disability community instead of buttons (takes a lot of hand-eye-coordination as well as fine motor to do up all buttons like those originally found on that type of polo)

You could cut out the neck of the izod sweatshirt, and make it off the shoulder, while also getting rid of the velcro.

How do you sanitize shoes?
Spray Lysol on them, wipe them out with lysol wipes , sometimes i wash on my washing machine if they are converse.
Girl fyi...I literally lost 16 lbs in one month by doing nothing absolutely nothing different but the 6 min shake weight video with the girl.6 days a week for a month. People make fun of that shake weight and ITS A GOD SEND! It also really toned my arms and back up. No joke. I love that thing. Good haul. I LOVED that plaid skirt that she found and those red gingham shoes you got are so cute. The argyle sweater would look great with green cargos.
