Love this show but Michael reads the questions in the bonus round way too slow .
It’s very hard for anyone to win the 10.000
But love him as a host .
That happened in some episodes such as the one from April 19th.
I totally agree. Michael reads the questions entirely to slow.
The last question got me so excited! Lol
The way John Michael Higgins raises his fist like that when the contestants win on this show. Such a good host.
He was a great host. I discovered him during fall 2020 binge watching his now former show which (of course) was a rerun. I never watched new episodes until the fourth season premiered on Memorial Day 2021. For his new show, there were actually two last second wins which made me change my mind about this show; "Or Best Offer" was said by Jared on 7-18 just when time ran out while "Cesarean" was more in time (said by Erika on 7-26). I remember the host being slow in some bonus rounds however. I noticed it for the first time in the third episode.
0:56 that is ironic because David Letterman was the character that John Michael Higgins, the host of this Split Second revival, portrayed in the 1996 HBO movie The Late Shift.
Really like split second it's so unique and different compared to the other games on gsn
It's a revival of the 70s and 80s show, the maingame is pretty much the same as those versions, but the bonus round is different there than on those version.
I love this show it’s very interesting and John is entertaining too :)
@@yaphettvazquez9796 Agreed it really does make you think fast and the fact they give you two choices makes it more unpredictable
Host needs to read the last round faster. He is causing contestants to lose. Many of us have told him. See Master Minds.
The actual show is excellent. Higgins reads questions to slow especially during the final round. And his silly jokes he tells during the rounds are not necessary!
This is great,i don't have cable or satellite, but this is great.
MARK WINS $10,000 1:09 1:13
MARK WINS $10,000 1:09 1:13
1:14 Mark has won the $10,000!
That's very rare
🎉

Opening night
The best thing about the original was picking 1 of the 5 new cars to start its engine.
Why woudn't they keep it?
This bonus format works, but once upon a time, you played for a car. GSN never had that line of budget as far as I know.
I wish they would bring back the brand new car format.
I kinda like the old school versions
@@brandonpotter4915 In what way? 5 cars and only one starts, or 1 car and 5 screens, where you must find the one that says CAR?
If this show was back on ABC (which aired the original version of the show in the 70s), a car would have been the bonus round prize.
I'd love to keep this bonus round (answering 7 questions in a minute), with each correct answer increases the chances of winning the car with the key selected in advance. And of course, answering all 7 correctly automatically wins that car with the selected key without having to pick.
Otherwise, the odds of winning the car depend on the number of correct answers (less than 7) during the minute.
@@wecantfightgravity That's a good way to do it.
@@wecantfightgravity Awesome idea!
Didn't someone win the 10,000 on the premier episode
I thought that too. They might mean this is the first one that won while they were filming the show? Idk just a guess
