thank you so much Anna. When I click the Custom Normal Map, I don't get a field to add a custom texture. Not sure if this is a bug with their latest updated beta version. But curious if you have now the same issue, or if I've been missing something here.
The embroidery changes seem like a big change from the previous way it worked but its still a little confusing to me. I thought they made it so that you could stack multiples images in 1 filter instead of needing to stack multiples filters but it doesnt seem to work that way unless im doing something wrong, would love to see you talk about the updates to that. .
Here's a thing, never use a greyscale in normal channel, it might result in artifacts... Use greyscale masks for height and than use height to normal filter to generate a proper normal map... Anyways really awesome tutorial.. Thanks...
Did you try this update of Sampler? It works a bit differently than the previous versions and it's a lot more flexible so I didn't notice any issues with these texture generators. Normally of course people should not use a greyscale image for normal in any 3D app but Sampler converts everything at the end so I don't think it's a problem but I will double check this with people who know it better then me. :) Thank you for the observation!
@@Anna_Natter I finally updated to the latest version.. The custom normal seems to be accepting greyscale inputs only with a fill layer, but if we try the same with a base material, it creates artifacts.. Anyways thanks a lot for the updates...
Thank you for your amazing tutorial. could you please tell me your system specification?
I have a MacBook M2 Max 32 gb and a pretty strong PC that has an Nvidia RTX 3090 but I work more on the Mac nowadays. :)
@@Anna_Natter That's great. thank you :)
