This is helpful. I am attempting to create a deboss effect that is very minimal. I see that I can likely do that with material height, similar to the small emboss that you create.
Прекрасная подача и интересный контент. Автор, вы молодец! Спасибо.
Awesome
Thanks for showing how to do this, very easy and helpful. Definitely will use your brushes you made. ❤
I love situations like this. "Oh my god this thing from real life would be PERFECT for my art project", and then you just take a whole bunch of pictures to re-use it. I think a lot of the time, we get caught up on having to create everything from scratch, when in fact getting real objects to use as part of our project is actually a great way to add interesting, natural details. I also definitely agree that using a fill layer for your main color/height/etc and then using a mask to paint in the areas you want to be affected is the best way to go about it. Much more customizable and less destructive than relying just on the brush's own settings for the layer.
I have a question, can i have the real product with the matarial created in Sampler? And how can i do that? Thanks
@@DoCuongmcdzn You can texture a model with Painter, if I understand the question correctly.
@@Anna_Natter Sorry for bad question, I wanted to ask if i had a sample of a bag like yours in the video, could i manufacture it and sell? Because the bag is very beautiful and created in the 3D environment, how is it possible to come into real life product?
@@Anna_Natter or i just come to the factory and ask the factory that "Hi, i have a sample/concept of my new product, could you produce it?"
@@DoCuongmcdzn I think this works the other way around. So first you have a bag design and then you work on the texturing.
@@Anna_NatterThen how the product comes into real life? Is it possible? 🤔
I love your work! Thanks for sharing the knowledge. This Substance Sampler to C4D workflow is what I am looking for, however I don’t really know substance sampler nor C4D yet. :)
Thank you! Check out my videos, I have a lot of content about both!
This is such an interesting capability and very well communicated. I think Substance Sampler is just what I need. You can just take a photo as well it seems, can you confirm? Thanks so much.
@@petez4608 Yes you can!
Thanks a lot. Amazing materials. It could be that you do not see the previews of the materials because you are recording the video?
@@jonm2459 It’s been resolved by an update! 😊
@Anna_Natter Oh! Thank you very much for answer.
la imagen que bajo de adobe stock debe ser png para aplicarla material cinema 4d le saco uv cierto al objeto cierto ese parte exportar al cinema no muestra como es
Beautiful Tutorial Unrated 🎉
her voice and accent is way too cute. MashaAllah
Why i cant bring the AI file into the model?? I mean the way you drag and drog
@@iScarFaceX That’s a good question, I’m not sure if anything changed about this in the latest update. I have to check!
@@Anna_Natter Ahh I see, because I'm using Substance Painter 2021, and I think your latest version shouldn't have any problems. Well, it's okay, just let us know the update. Thank you.
@@iScarFaceX It's in one of the latest updates of Painter so I think that's why it's not working because you're not on the latest version.
Take care ❤
🙏🏻
Thanks, Anna, your Tut is accommodating.
hi! how to export translucency matrial ? for Blender or another program
Thank you so much for making this video! I followed along with your tutorial and managed to create my own halftone brush, transferring it from Procreate to Photoshop and then to Substance Painter. I wanted to have my own Spider-Verse-style brushes for my 3D animated film project, and now I can paint my models, all thanks to you!❤
Wow this is amazing! Super happy to hear that!
Hi Anna! Every time I try to export the textures, the program stops responding and crashes :( do you need a lot of RAM to do so?
@@momosouls What is your setup?
@@Anna_Natter I have 32GB of RAM
Great tutorial!:)
you got yourself a new fan 🫶✏🔥
@@FelipeRojas-zj3pg 🙏🏻
Great tutorial, Anna. One thing worth mentioning: you have to set color space of your non-RGB textures (like Normal, Roughness) to RAW, otherwise it may look wrong (especially Normal).
Ah yes thank you!
Mr. Unintentional ASMR!
Another great tutorial!! Thank you Anna!!🔥🔥🔥
Thank you! 🫶🏻
looks great! but lots of maps. how would the workflow change if you wanted to pack different objects' UVs into the same tile, in order to reduce number of maps used? i guess it would be a little more tricky to work in Substance Painter if you can't separate materials by shader
I chose this on purpose because I wanted the highest resolution I can get. But you can of course use the other method if that suits your project better.
Super cool stuff! Thanks for breaking it down for us! :)
🙏🏻
wow this is so amazing im glad that i found this video 3d in after effects is still so new so finding good tutorials is hard do you have any idea if there is a way on making 3d limbs in after effects? kinda like rubberhose3 plugin
Is there any way to have motion blur for 3d models in AE?
I have to check this! There should be but I didn’t try it yet! 😊
@@Anna_Natter actually I have already found out, you need to pre-compose and apply "force motion blur" effect 🙂
@@patrushevcom Oh nice! I will try!
nice lessona
Thanks!
Awesome tutorial, Anna, very useful. Love your accent too.
Aww thanks! I rarely hear that! :D (The accent thing)
anna you are great
Thanks! I'm happy that you like my channel!
At 07:19 I forgot to mention that when you set the "Accept Shadows" to "Only" then it will just show the shadows and nothing else. So if you do it with a solid, that way you can blend any model with any video you just have to nail the perspective. The shadows will be on a separate layer and you can add effects individually to that as well.
You can read more here: helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/import-3d-model.html
The vampire is from Mixamo, if anyone would like to know! :)
Hi Anna, how did you convert the vampire to a .glb file? Mixamo is only giving me the option to download the character as a .fbx? Thanks!!
@@patdavisphotography Any 3D app basically that can handle animation! I used C4D to convert!

Hi Anna , please make a video about lace material , thanks ❤in advance
Hi! Lace mateirals are made mostly in Substance Designer because they are pretty complex for Sampler. I might give it a go in Sampler too. 😁
