- Join me in driving my 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro about 1500 miles to its birthplace, the Chatanooga Assembly Plant. Overall, no major hiccups were experienced - these trips do require substantial planning but can be done at the cost of your time, primarily. A major key to success will be finding hotels with L2 charging - waking up with the full battery really puts you on the right foot.

That trip seems fun even with so many stops for charging than gas for a normal car, Bucees is something that doesn't exist up where I live sadly.
