Also this was shot at the venue of their online concert and those lights in the back are army bombs that were put on seats since army couldn't be there which is extra heart breaking. So it's not completely like before. There's still no army. But it is continuing to do what we can and live dispite the situation

I’m so GLAD that you called out that mistake. Here’s why:
Jungkook was also a director for this MV. Now, Jungkook is not exactly a pro but he’s very good at it and he clearly loves it. This small mistake comes to show how much hand Jungkook had in this. A mistake that was ok and that was beautiful and most importantly, a mistake that was raw. I love it. I absolutely LOVE IT. I don’t doubt Jungkook also had a hand in editing since he edits videos himself.

But that film making mistake can't be filming from Jungkook because he was in that shot. So someone else would've filmed that. he can't film himself.

It just happens to be Seoul's biggest apartment. - And still they had to arrange an additional bedroom from parting the living room in two, that Jimin and Hobi have to share. Rumors say most of the bedroom scenes was filmed in the JiHope bedroom.
@@Pikaxsu this is true. they mentioned this in both the MV making video and the last festa live just before the hiatus. They split the living room to partition smaller rooms for V and Jungkook. JiHope choose to share cos they are used to each other and Jimin doesn't like being alone - they have the master bedroom which we have seen in a run bts ep somewhere. Everyone else had their own rooms, but I think it is a two floor apartment and the balcony that RM is on, IS their balcony.
I was at Jamsil Stadium where they had their last concert performance last year🥺and when Tae looked over my HEART SANK🥲🥲 *ugly cries*

Another person reacting to this video laugh and say no one sleep that way. This guy just point point out that they did actually fall asleep. When your tired you fall asleep even standing up..
maybe he just tried not to laugh? I know that video is heartbreaking, I love it, music and lyrics are beautiful and comforting but I imagine that they pretended to sleep many times to shoot the scene and finally that was funny? I watched few interviews that shows they all are really funny guys with whom everyone would like to hang out :) that's why I think I take a closer look at them although before I knew nothing about K-pop. But they're adorable
‼️ Keep in mind, the dust line from RM's verse might have *actually* been rapped at the same time as the scene where he wipes the dust off the bike, but because the structure of the Korean language is basically opposite of English, the translated line came *after* it was actually said in Korean. 😊😊

I think the part where Suga and JHope look at the camera was done because the lyrics directly address ARMY. It's like they pulled us into the story rather than having us just watching them. Instead of simply observing, we were in the room with them.

Seeing them in the dorm and other places where people normally go reminds me of this pandemic hardship. BTS “Life goes on” is the best remedy during lockdown when we cannot do many things we used to do. Be strong y’all. And darn Bangtan boys singing with empty chairs in the concert recently made me tear up.

This video is closer to what Jungkook does as a hobby, the filmmaking style I mean. He usually records and edits videos that are aesthetic and cozy, usually recording his friends/people or landscapes with his own cameras that he bought himself. He usually records blogs then puts music over the videos and throws funny scenes in between the sentimental ones, it shows his sense of humor. Jungkook has said he likes camerawork and the entire process of filmmaking is interesting to him, but editing is what he enjoys the most doing by himself.
What else? The original idea they discussed was to record a music video that reflected the situation of people during quarantine, but also sharing about their lives, by combining 3 scenarios: 1) them staying at home in their shared appartement and doing daily life domestic activities (members have their own properties now, but they still have a dorm together), 2) them reminiscing on the past/life before pandemic started and 3) them continuing to work but having to perform in an empty stage/with no audience present in the room. They recorded the last scene after their online concert ended, in that same venue. There was no people, but they had the ARMY light-sticks in every seat, to represent how they're still virtually and emotionally connected to their fans.

Re: your criticism of the “dust scene”
In Korean, the scenes were lined correctly. The grammar structure difference between English and Korean is what you’re noticing.

Comment on the "dust" lyric. While I'm not Korean, I know that English and Korean have different sentence structures so it is possible that in the korean lyrics, they showed the "dust" part on the time when talked about it in the korean lyrics. It may seem off due to the English translation.

When V glances to the stadium, he remembered their last memories with ARMYs. And they had their last concert there last year. Then they closed their eyes and opened it, in a hall empty just light bomb sticks representing ARMY. Who cannot cry to that point?! Like we could have been there in their Map Of The Soul ON:E concert but we aren't. We are just connected virtually but still the whole MV was like recieving a hug from your 7 friends who's situation is similar to us. We could not do what we used to do, but BTS still do their best to connect with us and never let us go. 😭😭😭😭😭

Interesting fact: Because of the lockdown almost all of the filming was done in their house. Jordan is 100% the best professional reactor on UA-cam. His insight and knowledge never cease to amaze me and then you have this fabulous personality that goes with it. I'm so glad I found him. i cried during the prezzcon and the release of mv. and now, am still wheezing and bawling my eyes out wth
The black and white was filmed after they just finished their online ON:E concert...where right up until about a week before, they had a limited number of ARMY that were going to be there in person while they also broadcast it live to all of us around the world. At the last minute, numbers spiked and they had to cancel the in person audience and BTS was heartbroken again. Staff went through and put ARMY bombs in each seat, so the boys would look out and see that ARMY was still "there". I sobbed at that part almost as much as when Tae looks out at that empty stadium....

I don't know if anyone else has pointed it out, but when they're on stage at the end all of the seats are empty. Where normally fans would be cheering and the boys would be dancing instead they're sitting on the chairs performing to an empty theater because there's no one to dance for anymore. I find the whole song so sad but also so comforting.

The editing police thing I don’t really agree if I’m understanding what you are saying. His head is still in the direction of Jimin and his eyes are in the proper place and that second closer shot is from a slightly different angle but jungkook’s eyes are still in the proper place so I’m not sure what you are pointing out. I guess I’ll Google 180 rule and see what it says but it still looks consistent to me.

It's all about eye line! First we were on the right side or Jungkook, then we jumped to the left side on the close up.
@@JordanOrme Agreed but that still doesn't exactly break the 180 rule if we talk about the different angles right, they didn't show it from jimin's position in the next shot, it was the camera angle we had when JK was doing his verse and looking out. So couldn't it have meant that Jimin left the scene (literally) so they took the camera back to where it was during JK's verse.
