2024 Ford Super duty Lariat vs Lariat Ultimate package: is it worth $5075 extra?

- For the 2024 Ford F-250 F-350 and F-450 is the Lariat Ultimate package worth the premium over the standard Lariat?
Ultimate Package not currently offered on the Super Duty builds on the Ford website. I wonder what happened?

When you select the Ultimate, it only adds $4678. The package is listed at $5075 but Ford math means it only costs $4678. I got it on my '24 and would pay that much for the adaptive cruise and heads up alone.
Exactly...no brainer IMO! Power steps are $1k upgrade also included!
I absolutely love all the upgrade options including the smart cruise control.
I don't know why, in my area the lariat loaded up is about $91k while the platinum is only $96k.

One BIG plus as mentioned in the video and @user-eg7xh5be3I mentioned below is the Heads Up Display. I only have to look straight ahead to know my speed, time and temperature. That alone to me is why I choose the package but all the other perks are a life saver from the lane assist to the power boards.

I looked at a 2021 King ranch 6.7 diesel today with 52000 and some odd miles on it and they wanted 72000 something for it. But interest rates are 7 to 8 percent!!! I have a ‘22 f150 5.0 302 A package with 10,500 miles and said it’s only worth 37 to 39000.

I believe the Used vehicle market is moving back towards a normal level of depreciation. For thr majority of my life, even well kept vehicles lost 50% of their value by year 3-4. Also don't count on interest onmortgaes to drop below about 6% and expect the mortgage rates to stay in the 6-8% on home.

Now the real question is which offers the greater value, an XLT Premium or a base Lariat.
Great question. I used to believe lariat held value better due to nicer interior.
No point in getting a Lariat without it, just get an XLT if you don't want the Ultimate package.
