      it's a feather star, also known as a crinoid. they are echinoderms, the group that also contains sea stars, sea urchins, sea cucumbers and brittle stars. feather stars are filter feeders, using their feathery appendages to sieve plankton and organic particles from the water, which are then transported to the mouth, which is in the middle of the body, where all the appendages join. they usually attach themselves to rocks or coral (using finger-like appendages to hold on), but can swim if they need to move for whatever reason, just as the one in the video is doing. crinoids are an incredibly ancient group of animals, first appearing about 450 million years ago in the Ordovician - to put that in perspective, the first dinosaurs are closer in time to the modern day than they were to the first crinoids
