How about dimming the spark of out of control crime and the opioid epidemic.....
How about doing something about street crime and tent people? That's a much bigger problem to public safety, no?
Do something about all the problems,
My sun letting off fireworks 😂😂😂, come on outside
Hope he won't end up in the hospital like the kid showed in the report.
i think there are far greater issues the city needs to tackle
Tackle all the issues, not one over another
Patriotism Illegal!??😲🇺🇲

@@randallwood630 Under the California Health and Safety Code (HSC), particularly HSC Sections 12500-12728, the sale, possession, and use of fireworks are regulated.
"Safe and Sane" Fireworks: These are the only type of fireworks that are legal for public use in California. "Safe and Sane" fireworks include items like sparklers, fountains, and snappers. They are approved by the State Fire Marshal and bear the official "Safe and Sane" seal. However, even these fireworks can be restricted or banned by local ordinances.
Prohibited Fireworks: Any fireworks that are not classified as "Safe and Sane" are considered illegal. This includes items such as firecrackers, bottle rockets, roman candles, and aerial shells. Possession or use of these illegal fireworks can result in fines or imprisonment.
Local governments (cities and counties) have the authority to enact stricter regulations or complete bans on the sale, possession, and use of all types of fireworks, including "Safe and Sane" ones. Many areas, particularly those prone to wildfires, have total bans on all fireworks. The local ordinances in San Francisco further restrict fireworks. Specifically, the San Francisco Fire Code, which is part of the Municipal Code, prohibits the possession, use, or sale of fireworks without a proper permit. This includes both "safe and sane" fireworks and more dangerous types. The San Francisco Fire Department strictly enforces these laws and conducts regular inspections and public awareness campaigns. They have the authority to issue citations and confiscate illegal fireworks.
Violations of fireworks laws can result in significant penalties. Possession of illegal fireworks can lead to fines ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars, and in some cases, imprisonment. Enhanced penalties may apply for large quantities of illegal fireworks.
Enforcement is carried out by local law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and sometimes specialized task forces. There are also various public safety campaigns to educate the public about the dangers and legalities of fireworks.
You cannot even enforce the most basic laws in your city if that’s a clue for you.
Let Dogs vote against Fireworks😲🐶
Yeah Americans choice not choose your self
Soon as I heard the word “commission “ I know it’s going to go no where. This is a public safety issues . SF really sucks
Police don’t stop the guys on the Peninsula even when you tell them exactly where they are.
How do say “the city officials don’t really care” without saying so.
SFPD has to do real police work and find out where these people get these illegal fireworks. If you find the source, that may be a start. 🤔🤔🙄🙄
Gee, maybe some Police maybe in the area? Duh! How about all the sideshows every night that you do nothing about?
there aren't enough police to handle sideshows, there's definitely not enough to enforce firework laws.
State legislation against sideshows have been signed into law. It doesn't commence until July 2025.
People need to take theircityback
The gay people?
Lol go take it back batman 😂
Step 1: make legal fireworks cheaper than the illegal fireworks.
All fireworks are illegal.
It’s all over the Bay Area, it’s been since the beginning of June
Our Second Amendment that cojoins Our 1st Amendment " A well regulated militia, being necessary to the Security of a Free State , the Right of Our People to keep and bear arms shall Not be Infringed 🇺🇲💪🇺🇲
Call out fo second amendment right for fireworks the right to keep in bare arms shall not be afringed
Dumb news today, anti American.
Talking about people's safety and health is anti-American? Maybe in mission.
It's actually a big problem that has only gotten worse over the last 15 years. I'm not understanding why the police can't do anything about people breaking the law?!!!
Just a guess, but maybe the Democrats calling cops racists and defunding them, might have something to do with it.
Because the Legal Ones are too expensive that's the answer.
These are coming from Nevada in truckloads. Gotta have major crackdowns starting there.
By legalizing them
No it starts mid March 2am to 5am.
The dogs and they are terrified. These dumb animals have a right to live in their homes without being afraid of these loud sound. These unruly people have no consideration for the neighbours and should be held accountable for such despicable behaviour. Fireworks are such a beautiful lighting when are done in the right places. These people can go to the park, where professionals are trained to lighting these starlight.
You could dim it by moving back to where you came from.🤣
The city?
Likewise for you
I remember going to Ocean Beach to set off sparklers and small fire crackers with other families as a kid.
The summer George Floyd was murdered the private fireworks got way more intense. The night of the 4th the show was all over the City, and it went on and on and on. I imagined it felt like the 1st 4th in 1776 and got a little teary.
SAY NO to Children Celebrating AMERICA😯🇺🇲
All fireworks are illegal.
Legalize, Stop wasting valuable, taxpayer dollars chasing children’s toys
an M80 or m100 is hardly a children's toy. You hear them, they're like bombs. People aim that at cars and buildings and they shake the ground, make an extremely loud sound, kill birds, scare animals and cause horrible panic attacks in Combat veterans with PTSD.

The Asian lady reporter has an Americanized sounding voice. She doesn't have a foreign Asian accent.
That’s how it’s supposed to be. You’re supposed to learn proper English. So the rest of America can understand. It’s America not the country to ran from.
Lyanne Melendez is not Asian.
Asians born and raised in the United States are Americans and do not have foreign accents.
@@RaymondHngI wasn’t referring to Melendez. I was referring to the Asian lady reporter in the beginning of the video wearing the dark pink.

Let me guess police state, drones, heat thermal type of cameras. Btw it’s many of the new residents from across the border plus the fact NO ONE gets in trouble for crimes there so why wouldn’t they think they wouldn’t get in trouble either
