It is a huge improvement the M3 Max is 80% faster than the M1 Max. He just doesn’t have a need to upgrade because the M1 is still a good computer.
I think it all depends on what you’ll do with the laptop if you are a just regular day user search web or normal school I say stay with the one you have if it isn’t out date couple of years or if you need the new new stuff and actually
Gonna use the MacBook for what it is and need the power then go for it
For that price, it better not need upgrading within a year or 2
I wanna upgrade but only because I’m still on the intel version 😭 if it weren’t for the fact that it won’t do anything without sounding like it’s about to take off then I would stick with it for a few more years. I don’t even dare try doing any 3D stuff on it anymore in case it blows up 😱🤣
Ill buy one of those new computers when they get rid of the notch
I max mine out daily just making beats…. Kinda disappointed I can barely crack out one simple track with professional effects and it still clogs up
I did the same thing. Apple wanted $900 for the MacBook air and $400 for 16 gb of ram and 512 ssd. Don’t be a muppet I just got it stock. I did pay $40 for an external ssd 256 gb drive.
the day the battery on my Macbook dies is the day its put in clamshell mode forever
Is it better to shutdown MacBook Pro 14 inch M2 everyday or sleep it
Yeah bro. I’m very happy with my M1.
Feel the same about my Legion 7 amd
cant wait for M3 ultra
It is a temptation And I will not upgrade. No problems with my m2 pro.
Did Apple make Macbook M1 pro max no longer purchasable? Cause I can't find it anywhere. Even the Apple store told me it's not for sale anymore
228 cycles, bruh, I had 900 cycles on pro 14 m1 pro, switching to pro 14 m3 pro
I need an upgrade now since my 2015 MacBook battery is just almost dead everytime I open it and struggles to handle 20 applications open & 50 chrome tabs
That’s so true, the problem with Apple is that their products last too long……
That’s how I save money, you don’t have to upgrade every year. You don’t need the latest and greatest gadgets.
Austin “Here’s the Thing” Evans
If you don't buy it the discount is better
Unless you’re a UA-camr who makes money showing off the newest model, what reason is there to upgrade every time a new one comes out? What economic advantage does that give anyone?
Apple wants you to upgrade... The peeps who still own M1s 😅 all comparisons were with M1
I'm tempted to get one of the M2 models myself, Either another MacBook pro or a Mac Studio, I want more ram so I can have an easier time editing Full HD video, not even 4k stuff it's 1080p video. Are the worth it in the long run?
If you have m series chip before, dont upgrade. If you want to try m chip, go for it
Love your videos but what happened to saying “hey guys, this is Austin” ?
Last year I was getting M1 Max 16" with 32gb ram and 1 TB ssd for the price of M2 Pro 14" 16 gb ram and 1tb ssd and guess what I bought M2 Pro now I kinda regret my decision not because M2 pro is bad or something but M1 Max is much better.
Dude 7800 X3D only gets 200 points less than it on single core and gets like 4,000 more points than the M3 on multicore it's not even that crazy of a chip
i have a mac book pro from back in 2015
I upgraded from m1 MacBook Air to m3 pro and I can edit 4k videos like it’s nothing now. My computer would beg for mercy before this ukgrade
The only Mac worth buying is the mac mini
get aldente set to %70 and lumen for night screen
what is that app he is using to show all the detailed stuff at the top of his macbook screen?
istats menu
Up
Let's see if you'll think that way AFTER the review.
M2 Airs are freaking air fryers , now the M3'S !? Forget about it .... Heat Induction industrial ovens 😂 ! the M2/M3 airs all DO need a fan and a proper repaste / thermal pads mod to be utilized properly
F that I’d upgrade for that horrible greasy keyboard and the misaligned hinges alone
And I am still using my MacBook Pro 2017 i5😂
Im afraid of the day companies would lock their devices for good when they release a new device, so you would be forced to switch
I’m pretty sure that’s illegal and they would immediately face a lawsuit
@@rogeliocano9536 Illegal "At the moment"
Stopping devices functionalities because we put a generic part instead of their stupid expensive replacement seems pretty illegal to me, but it happen doesn't it ??
That doesn’t happen and that can’t happen
The worst that can happen is that older devices stop getting updates. Which typically takes at minimum 5 years anyway so meh, not a huge deal
@@IceBlueLugia Well, companies _have_ been caught even recently sending out "updates" to older products that artificially slow them down in order to force upgrades. But yeah even then, when they get caught they get sued and fined. Although the fines compared to their profits are pathetically small and out of balance - fines really need a re-working to adapt to how wealthy companies have gotten lately.
