The most classic and beautiful song ever recorded featuring a "recorder" not a flute.
Justin was 32 years old here. Still touring and performing very successfully now at age 77 as a solo artist after a monster career as a songwriter, singer and guitarist of The Moody Blues since 1966.
If you get the chance you should definitely check out the full concert this song if from. The War Of The World's concert created by Jeff Wayne is absolutely amazing! It's here on UA-cam, great reaction to great song from a great musical!
I’m 66 years old and have always loved this song! When you hear the version of it where they add the narration (I’m guessing that’s the “War of the World’s” version), it will give you chills! Love Moody Blues and love Justin Hayward!

The panic wasnt when the Album came out but 40 years earlier when Orson Welles produced a radio play version of War of the Worlds in NYC
There are some amazing performances and songs from The War Of The Worlds album. A real who's who of musical talent at the time.

Do not remember the song but you're right, he does have a good vocal. Fairly calm song.
He's touring the U.S. this summer. His voice isn't quite as good now but still better than most.
Flute and horns helped.
He did release a version of John & Yoko's "Happy Christmas" that you may have heard.

Never heard this one. But I really liked it. Maybe because this is my era. Great voice and music. Lots of Moody Blues vibes. He looks more like early thirties and of course BP1's face is timelessly stuck in the early 20s. Mostly I loved the hair style. much like the style I had in the 70s. Great reaction guys. please, please, please, please react to Randy Travis new song since 2013 after he had a major stroke called " Where That Came From" it just came out With the use of " AI" they were able to produce Randy's voice n it has given him joy hearing his voice again. Yes many don't like the use of "AI" but in Randy's case he is able to give us his music back. I don't like other artists using this when they have their voice to sing. They are using it for the wrong reason. Maybe they are just Lasy. I will definitely become a Patreon to your channel. The other song I was so happy u reacted to was Toby Keith's Dont Let The Old Man In. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
