Weight might be a problem. Pump walls full of that and the whole structure becomes much heavier than architect designing it allowed for.

New construction yes, conduit is the answer. But the product is designed for existing walls post construction. So romex in the walls does become a concern.
The weight of his rhino shield needs to be disclosed. The same effect can be achieved with sand or loose 3/4-1.5" washed gravel. That is assuming the walls and foundation can handle the weight.

The main concern is the safety of air quality in the home and how it reacts to house fires. Also, what about getting into the walls for wiring, etc. Can you cut it, or is it hard like concrete?

  • @rogerjensen5277

A possible problem with using a liquid is that sheetrock is only chalk between two sheets of paper, not designed to stop/hold liquids! Also, if you're using gravel (better than sand) to fill the spaces between the 2X4 studs, it will pack down over time leaving a gap at the top (maybe not a problem) but also possible pushing the sheetrock off the studs at the bottom. I would suggest replacing the sheetrock with 1/2 inch plywood (minimum) and since you will need to remove the sheetrock to put your electrical wiring inside conduit (since the gravel would be abrasive and possible cause shorts) that would be the time to use plywood instead. The plywood can be harder to 'hang' especially if your walls aren't very plumb and may require some additional 2X4 studs! But a possible extra advantage to using the plywood is that it is easier to remove if necessary! Wouldn't the liquid tend to seep out around the electrical boxes?

I work in a large public school district as a maintenance worker.
I can assure you our walls are bulletproof.
But that's not the problem The shooters don't shoot through the wall they come into the schools because the schools are not secured and locked down.
And on top of that the state and county that I'm in are a sheriff the greatest sheriff in the country some might know of him.
Has placed on campus what he calls guardians.
These are men and women that are sharpshooters.
One of them that I personally know used to target shoot from horseback competition.
I don't recommend anyone going on to our campuses with bad intentions because you will not go out the same way you came in as a matter of fact I guarantee you won't make it through the front doors.
You don't need walls that are bulletproof on campus cuz that is most likely the case already what you need is armed guards all over the place with signs up saying armed guards on duty at all times.
    Works where I'm at

Maybe in interior hallway walls in schools with properly reinforced doors and latches. Most shooters are already inside. that would leave room for the pluming and wiring in other walls. The schools I have seen where I lived were cinderblock walls, probably unfilled which would not last long.

Seems like a good idea, but I’m concerned with it hardening evenly in an enclosed area like a wall with out air. And will it set and dry fast enough to keep it from building sheet rock and other wall board material. The pressure created by this stuff in liquid form may bust sheet rock at the bottom of the wall out and just running across the floor. If it needs to be poured in sections and allowed to harden that’s going to take a fair amount of time. And will the integrity be compromised where the layers are joined.
