PASSED! Gevorg I watched quite a few of your videos and they really helped me out with breaking down the days, what to focus on, big topics, etc. Thanks so much for all of your resources!

hello, i got an admit from schulich school of business for the diploma in intermediate accounting and masters in accounting program that makes me eligible to write the CFE after completion of the Masters. I am from India. The fees is quite high. It is 75000 CAD. Is it worth putting in that much money for the Schulich name? I'd like to take the masters route since i directly get to write the CFE. Also, I need to do a diploma before I pursue my masters since I have a 3-year bachelor's degree vs the 4-year requirement for masters.

@@bhumikachaudhari3643 Is there a specific reason you want a Masters? Seems like a lot of effort/money but same end result. Depends on the industry, but employers generally care about the CPA title, not which school the candidate came from. Try to enroll directly with CPA and do their PREP and PEP courses.

@@bhumikachaudhari3643 I live on the west coast. The Schulich is on the east coast, so I never heard about it. $75,000 is alot of money to become CPA. But then again, Canada is expensive for international students. Talk to the CPA designation beforehand and ask for consulting about the best (cheapest) and fastest way for you to become CPA. They are very helpful. Also, In Canada, Canadian work experience is more important than education qualifications. Also, once you have your degree, your employer will happily pay for your CPA to keep you locked in at their job for 3 years. My one employer paid for last year of degree and second employer paid for the CPA.
