I got my 2022 Series 1 Wagoneer with 40k miles last month with moderate hail damage to the hood for $28,900. I came from a 2019 ram Laramie and love the Wagoneer. Albeit the memory seat function has a mind of its own, the ride is smooth and faster (though it seams) than the Ram even though it has the 5.7 Hemi.

Great review. As a wagoneer owner I can sympathize with alot of this, however some recent software updates have cured most of the uconnect bugs. As for the price gripes, I honestly don't think you're giving it a fair shake and comparing apples to apples. They are expensive, but so is the Expedition and Suburban, and lots of dealers are giving really steep discounts.
True, compared to its competition its in line and most Jeep dealers are trying to liquidate. I think what I wanted to convey by my comment was specifically that trucks these days of ANY caliber aren't worth the price. A 75,000 dollar Expedition is a joke too. But that's just the day and age we live in!
Appreciate the honest feedback in the Wagoneer. It is refreshing to hear the truth for a change. Lets see if Jeep new CEO does cut prices by 35%. That is the only way we would consider buying this or any new large SUV. And I agree the knob is probably the sole reason we would not buy this SUV. Also, for the same money as a Tahoe or Yukon, it's just not as sharp looking with sleek lines. Until they get to that level these things need to be a good 7-10k less in my opinion.
Owning a similar vehicle such as the Rivian which I traded in recently felt like I was in a boat swaying in the ocean, a newer 4-runner TRD Off Road (2019) interior very outdated and weak V6 and currently owning a Ram 1500 Limited (2023) which I love, all vehicles mentioned in the video. I absolutely love the Wagoneer! I purchased a new 2024 Wagoneer Carbide edition, and I would agree pricey yes for sure, but the 3rd row feels like a 3rd row should meaning it fits adults comfortably and the drive is great! Comparing it to a new Tahoe and Expedition, I would take the new Wagoneer over both based on drive quality, interior room and interior design is top shelf compared to the Tahoe and Expedition. I recommend the Wagoneer over the competition in its class even paying more than the Tahoe or Expedition.
Agree they are over priced but $30-40k any large SUV has cost more than that for the past 15 years. I could see a base at 50k but 30k will not buy a budget sedan.
I stand by my statement, haha. But you're correct it's a pipe dream. Still, doesn't matter what universe we're in... they are not worth 70k+ they are asking.

acoustic glass? don't see that mentioned in any of the info on it. Quiet is better. Had a grand Cherokee for long time, not 1 single issue with it, but too small at some point.

I own a Rivian. Where the hell did you find yours 15,000 less? For that matter they are not the same class of vehicle. The wagoneer is more mini van where R1S is more.... 4Runner-ish? While I appreciate your comment I'm not sure I agree with the cost sentiment. Rivians are 80k vehicles too, and more if you go tri and quad.
When I see a Rivian, I just shake my head at the stupidity of the owner, as I pass him in my Jeep Wagoneer as he sits at the charging station. Not to mention the Rivian batteries and their detrimental effect on the environment. Rivian vehicles have been criticized for a number of issues, including reliability, charging, and technology. Who would spend all that money on a golf cart?

Yes. A lot of higher end trims in most brands come with double pane acoustic glass. This keeps the interior quieter. It’s nice!

It's insane what Stelantis is charging for their products. And sales umbers keep dwindling. Shame because this is a great car.
They are worth it. If you want a lot of high tech and features, this is the truck.
Keep in mind the Wagoneer has a towing capacity of 10,000 lbs. And with 500 HP!! The competition is much lower.
