Thank you for your honest review. It is hard to find honest ones. You just saved me nearly $300. People often buy with their eyes without doing their research. This is a gorgeous machine but appears they have some issues to address. I may look at the other model less pretty model of cafe drip coffee maker. Plus I don't like that it doesnt have a warming plate.

The machine is NOT broken. In fact, it's working too well. The grinder has the ability to grind so fine that a longer timed shot at the finer grind can stall the pump. Just dial back on the grinder and the machine will work as before, it's on the website. It's a bit disingenuous to say the machine is broken. You will never get a perfect machine in a fallen world my friend. The machine is very good actually, if you know how to set it up. It's half the price of the competition that makes cold drinks, and it makes more varieties of both hot and cold drinks.

I bought one a couple of weeks ago. It did nothing. I am now trying to return it(I’m within the 30 day return window). You are sent to a link to a third party questionnaire website. You have to give your email and country. No confirmation email that you started the return. I had to email their info email to have a trail that I started the return. I just filled out the form AGAIN. And yes, you have to pay return shipping (which most definitely isn’t said in the advertised 30 day return policy). DONT’T BUY IT!

Shopping for a coffee maker now. I assume the KF8 would probably be the same. Its ashame, that a machine that seems to have all the right features you'd want in a multi-automatic coffee maker does not make good coffee. Out of all the machines you have tested that make all the different variant of coffees, which would you say has had the best tasting coffee?

I bought this total piece of junk in 2022. I needed the specs for my work from home job,. It was such junk, I put it away and used me desktop (Dell). Now, 2 years later, my desktop goes down, so without the means to buy something, or fix my desktop, i bring this out (now out of warranty) and it won't stay on. I've done all the trouble shooting youtube recommends. It's a piece if crap that is not even usable! HP won't even help me in any way. I can't afford a new pc, so I'm screwed!

I bought my first HP 5 years ago and i went down hill after a year. power went out last time i tried to write this. Tip top 24 gb ram 2 tb hard drive. just started failing. could not delete anything had to find a work around. first computer i ever owned that did not last till new one.

I bought one today. I don't normally use Windows, but after unboxing it, I went ahead and completed the Windows installation. I then used Windows for a few hours. One thing I noticed when running Windows was the machine got quite hot, and was quite noisy. The fan was quite loud, although the sound didn't really bother me (it probably will bother some people). It was really using a lot of resources under Windows (like about 12GB of RAM, and CPU usage was around 20% even when sitting idle). I ripped out the m.2 with Windows on it, and installed a 2TB m.2, and then installed Arch Linux with KDE Plasma. In Linux, the machine runs much cooler and quieter. Everything works fine in Linux. So far, I'm really enjoying the Inspiron 5645. Everything is quite snappy, at idle it's discharging at around 5W, when watching a FHD UA-cam video it discharges at around 9W to 12W (for some reason it goes up and down). I've been using it for about 5 hours with Linux (mostly just installing and configuring stuff, but also watching some UA-cam), and the battery is currently at 39% with an estimated 2 hours 19 minutes remaining. It still gets a little warn underneath (towards the the read, in the middle) under Linux, but nowhere near as warm as it does with Windows. It makes a great Linux laptop! I was stunned at how "clunky" Windows 11 felt, but that just may be down to me not using Windows for a very long time. At this price point, I think the Inspiron 5645 is a really good buy! The screen looks good, the keyboard feels fantastic, and the trackpad is okay. There's not that many user-configurable BIOS options (e.g. no way to set the amount of video memory - you get 512MB, and that's it), but that's fine for a budget laptop. So far, very pleasantly surprised with what you get at this price point! I'm going to start installing all the dev tools I use on it now, may make a quick video once this is done.

I agree, quad stream is a big lie gimmick and the “deep clean” setting sucks period.

WOW talk about a Review where a reviewer Is CLUELESS, We can start with his water tank comment, it has enough capacity to make coffee for 4-6 cups depending on your choice, who wants water sitting in a tank for a weeks, the size is perfect. The coffee is hot enough don't listen to this guy. If you are too lazy to check the hopper then you will run out of beans then the machine will intervene. He compares this to Breville you loss credibility at the start you then loss more by comparing that brand to Phillips. The machine has a good crema and he should have mentioned the type of beans you use have an impact on crema..... Too many people getting on You tube professing to be an authority on a topic then put out misinformation. This is a GREAT MACHINE do not listen to this nonsense.

I bought Inspiron 16 plus (7640) . It is heating so much on my first day of laptop. It heats up minutes and I don’t even play video games. It takes so much time to load applications..

I have had mine about six months as well with no leaks. Yes, water/coffee does get under the rim of the carafe and you have to rinse it a little extra. If you don’t keep the burr cleaned, it will make a mess after a while. The cup of coffee is worth it.

I purchased this laptop from Best Buy about 1.5 years ago with upgraded specs - i5 -1135G7, 12GB Ram and iRISxe GPU. The price was around mid $400. I ditched windows 11 and installed Ubuntu which helped out a lot with performance. Thank you for the review by the way.
