I have Verb 2-1, but that doesn't matter really. Two things, though: 1) Verb's mic was low or he needs to get his breathing right (Brizz, too). 2) The crowd was real sus. Both of them were going in at certain points and the crowd didn't give them any feedback. Part of the show is the crowd. I feel like Smack crowds are just looking to stunt 1/2 of the time. Stop being so cool and make some damn noise when a battler says something off the walls. Speaking of which, that, "I made Red see, I parted him" was the line of the night.

Brizz had great energy and performance but Aye Verb landed more Haymakers. Verb 3-0 (no body-bag). Verb edged every round. Brizz's best round was his third unfortunately so was Aye Verb's.

sapien82 If you compare Brizz's other battles with this one with Verb you will notice a difference (except the one with his homie T-Top). Brizz usually punches (hard) throughout with clever wordplay in between punches, and little to no filler. In this battle with Verb some of his punches were so, so (i.e. "grade on top of the paper") and there was filler. Examine the bars you'll see. It seemed to me that Brizz has too much respect for Aye Verb and that may have lead to less potent bars (the energy and performance was top notch). The same thing happened when Brizz battled T-Top (his friend). In an interview with 15 Minutes of Fame Brizz was asked about a potential battle with Arsonal and his response was "I fuck with Arsonal." So that tells me that even though on paper a Brizz vs Arsonal battle looks good it probably wouldn't be because of Brizz's respect for his opponent. Brizz needs to be straight-up coldhearted and kill anyone that stands before him; friend or foe.
