Very clever. Years ago my crew played with an idea found in most refrigerators, yep and sometimes in different colors. I like the plates, and this license plate collector shoulda thought of it, ha. Carry on sir.

I've used the lids from plastic buckets. Flat, thick enough, and white all the way through. I only did a couple that I was redoing the stock on, so it was easy to just screw them in-between the stock and the but plate and finish all to the same contour.
