I really want to read The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, Mexican Gothic, Super Fake Love Song, Where Dreams Descend, These Violent Delights, and and The Gilded Wolves which I’m planning to read soon and couldn’t be more excited! I’m also super excited about the new Marie Lu book Skyhunter! She has become an auto buy author for me bc The Young Elites was one of the first books to get me back into reading and introduced me to YA fantasy! I struggled with Adelina as a main character but overall really enjoyed the series! I’ve since read all of her books (except Kingdom of Back but I’m excited to read it soon!) I love Legend and Warcross too!💚
I'm really curious about Mexican Gothic and how it turns out. I'm a big fan of Frankenstein and would like to expand more into gothic horror. I didn't know about Wuthering Heights, so I'll add that to the ever growing TBR lol. As for me this month, I finally finished Mistborn: The Final Empire and ready to begin The Well of Ascension. I hope to finish the trilogy before the month ends. Awesome video!!
I just got the audiobook for Rebecca and I'm equally excited and intimated, I've never read a book like this before but I'm so intrigued so I'm hoping I can get to it soon! I read Where Dream Descend and I was pretty indifferent until the end. Good luck with your tbr!
The cover of that "where dreams descend" looks amazing! And I get night circus vibes from it! Which is one of our favorite standalones. I really hope you get to the one! Mexican Gothic is also on our TBR! And These violent delights sounds like it needs to be adapted to tv asap! Great vid
These violent delights I started flipping through it the moment I got it. It genuinely doesn't feel like an extremely youngish ya book. I felt like I was reading adult.
I just finished Skyhunter and it’s good! It’s not Marie Lu’s best book but I did enjoy it more than Rebel. It was not as good as Legend or the Young Elites but I’m not too disappointed because it’s just so different. Hopefully this helps!
Good luck with the books this month. I've seen a lot of people reading Mexican Gothic and wonder if I should read it too. Looking forward to seeing what you have to say about it.
Was not the biggest fan of These Violent Delights, I got it as an ARC and was disappointed. I’m also reading Skyhunter and finding it interesting so far.
I want to read the new Hank Green book on audio because I saw it has a full cast, sounds exciting. However, my owned tbr is already miles long... I keep saying I want to pick up Mexican Gothic (which I have), but I'm reading relatively slowly atm and I just haven't gotten to it.
Great video. Have you read an6 of my books like: The High Price Of A Good Man (by Debra Phillips), Love Trumps Game (by d.y. Phillips), and my ebook with amazon, BITTER WITH THE SWEET ( by Debra Phillips ). I would be honored to hear a review on one.
I hvent picked up Rebel by marie lu because i love love love the legend series and the ending was more mysterious and dystopian ish just like how i like it and i have a hugeee feeling that Rebel would ruin the story for me 😂 but i will pick it up one day
Are you even a booktuber if your TBR isn't overly ambitious?!? haha Great video!
that copy of where dreams descend is gorgeous!
Ooh circus vibes for Where Dreams Descend? Sign me up! 🎪👍
I read Where Dreams Descend recently and really loved it! It reminded me a lot of Greatest Showman in a way
Where Dreams Descend sounds so good!!

"seeing the characters suffer kinda makes me happy."
me, sitting here listening while writing wholesome letters to friends: what... 👀😂
I feel that about reading contemporaries in the summer! Fantasy hits different in the fall/ winter seasons 😊
Seeing your videos for the first time...my book spending is about to go way up...thank you.
THE SILVERED SERPENTS WAS FANTASTIC OMG
Great video! I haven't read Mexican Gothic either but have felt the pressure too! and you're right the cover is reason enough to buy it for sure 👍🏾
Good luck with The Silvered Serpents :P I honestly thought book 2 was better than book 1. It's really well paced and the characters do suffer x)
makes grabby hands at These Violent Delights. Definitely one of my most anticipated releases of the year

Yes The Silvered Serpents felt sooooo short for me too!!! 🙁

I literally lost my mind when you announced your potential review for A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor, I’m so EXCITED 😆

I keep saying I want to pick up Mexican Gothic (which I have), but I'm reading relatively slowly atm and I just haven't gotten to it.
Hi 🥰 does anyone know if the the silvered serpents is the last book in the series? Like does it remain as a duology or is this series incomplete?
Im pretty sure it's just a duology
